  Well I must say, it was an average game last night. There were moments of good play and then moments of pure sloppiness. Some of the passing at some stages were terrible. We had a fantastic second goal though. Really though we should have played better.

  Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will have a scan today to determine whether he suffered knee ligament damage in last night's draw with Ecuador. It was the Arsenal midfielder's first game since April but Carlos Gruezo's challenge ended his involvement on 63 minutes. Ligament damage or not, he'll be a doubt for the Italy game next Saturday.

  Are we ready for tomorrow. We are playing Honduras at I think 9.30pm at the same stadium. Roy will probably mix up the squad some more and we'll see if we can get a win this time. Let's hope we have better play and better passing and no more sloppiness.

  No need to name a replacement until 13th June so all being well he'll have recovered enough by then to stay with the squad and, more importantly, keep Carrick or Cleverley out of it. Boom!
  
  In more good news, Italy could only manage a 1-1 draw in their warm-up match against Luxembourg last night! Luxembourg! That's seven games without a win for them now, a run of form which'll hopefully continue until next Saturday at least.

  Morgan Schneiderlin's been called up to the France squad following the withdrawals of Clément Grenier and Franck Ribéry through injury.
  
  I'm a touch biased here but that's all sorts of deserved, well done him!
  
  Does probably mean he'll be looking for a transfer now though...
