Apparently there's been some fights going on in Brazil, some protests against the building of the stadiums because it's encroaching on their land and they don't want money going towards these stadiums. There will always be fights I suppose but let's hope it doesn't disrupt the World Cup. -

The Germans, normally such a cautious bunch, let their squad take part in a Mercedes race event in Northern Italy yesterday.
Predictably, there was a crash.
A circuit marshal and a 63-year old German tourist were hit and taken to hospital but Benedikt Hoewedes and Julian Draxler, passengers in cars driven by Pascal Wehrlein and Nico bloody Rosberg respectively, escaped unhurt.
Still, that shit's careless.

Rafael van der Vaart is out of the Holland squad after suffering a calf injury.
Terrible news, I was quite looking forward to the cameras constantly cutting to his missus in the crowd.
Hopefully wearing something similar to this. Brazil can get pretty warm in the summer after all.
