Well I managed to order refreshments. The bar was full of rowdy individuals wearing matching t shirts and wigs so I took refuge in a place called "Starbucks".

What did you make of the bathroom facilities ? - The Briss posterior has seen some difficult docking stations in its time, but dear god, the Black Hole of Calcutta had nothing on this place. It reminded me of a school trip to Paris in between the wars.

The ahem bathroom facilities were akin to heaven compared to some I have frequented, mainly in the far off corners of the empire in Asia where a chap is forced to squat and perch his posterior over a variety of shaped holes in the floor to accommodate doing his business, then realising there is no sign of toilet paper but a strange looking pail and ladle in the corner... yes your very own DIY bidet....
