  Wilson's on fire tonight in the Manchester Senior Cup vs City, just scored a brace with two fantastic goals. Really hope he gets some game time this season under LvG, the kid is seriously special!

  The defensive line up was never inconsistent because of Rio & Vidic being rotated, it was inconsistent because our CB's always get injured! Expect to see the same amount of "rotation" this season but with M.Keane & Blackett (and potentially James & Thorpe) instead of Rio & Vidic.

  for the first half of season they had loads of injuries, but when everyone was fit it was still rotated because Rio and vidic couldn't play three games a week. Barring injuries they'll be hardly any chopping and changing.

  Henriquez has gone to Dinamo Zagreb on a season long loan with an option to buy. Deeply disappointed with the latter part of that, the kid has huge potential. It better be a big fee.

  Big game for James, he didn't play much on the tour so this is his last chance to impress before the season starts. Nice to see Fellaini & Januzaj on the bench too!

  Half time and it's 0-0. Been a pretty dull game thus far. Rooney hit the post from a penalty. Some nice play here and there but our defence has been suspect a few times aswell.

  Full time and United have won 2-1! Fletcher & Fellaini with United's goals ensuring van Gaal gets a 100% pre season. Fellaini was actually really good when he came on and was cheered with every touch he made (mainly to cancel out pathetic booers) but the biggest cheer of all coming with his last minute winner!

  Judging by your review im glad I watched the real madrid game instead. I'll be honest I just can't see fellaini fitting in the team as a regular first teamed for man utd, lacks technical ability and mobility.

  Shaw's been ruled out for a bloody month. With Tony V also out it's very likely that James will be our starting LWB against Swansea on Saturday. For fuck sake.
  
  This is what I meant when I said our defenders always get injured. Evans is out too.....and Ralf. Heck we've got injuries across the board with Welbeck & Carrick out aswell

  He was forever picking up little knocks and missing the odd game or two at Southampton.
  
  Hopefully he'll grow out of it.
