  LOL they've all got erections because they're all fans of Tanya Renai, and they were just watching one of her tip goal shows before they took that photo. Maya Jama is probably the photographer behind the lens of that picture too. So if Liverpool do win the Premier League, Champions League, League Cup and/or FA Cup, then Tanya and Maya should be given winners medals and be on the trophy parade bus, just for the fact that they were responsible for not only creating such an iconic picture, but also for giving the team a lift LOL

  That was stressful. We started the match really well, but faded after the first fifteen minutes. Man City dominated possession for the remainder of the first half but only got one shot on target. At the start of the second half we looked back to our normal selves. Alisson made a couple important saves and interceptions. Milner might've been slightly fortunate to not pick up a second yellow card, but Fernandinho has made a career out of not being booked for tactical fouls. Matip was solid and brilliant at dribbling out from the back. VVD despite not still being back to full match sharpness, he continues to show why he's the best centreback in the world. Robertson is back to his defensive best, but his delivery from wide and set pieces has slight room for improvement. Fabinho was unlucky not to snatch a late winner, due to Rodri's block. Henderson could've done better to help Milner deal with Foden and Bernardo. Jones did well, but struggled a little bit in the first half. Mane took his goal really well. Jota caused problems with his runs from deep. Salah is the best player in the world currently. Bobby and Gomez had decent sub appearances. At least the international break will give us time to get our injured players back and a rest for some of our other players.

  FIVE. Our unbeaten run in the league from last season continues. I think it might be 18 games long now. Kelleher was solid in goal, confident with his feet, sweeps up behind the defence well and pulled off one big save. Alexander-Arnold continued to show why he's one of the best players in the world in his position. Matip continues to quietly prove why he's one of the best centrebacks in the league. VVD pulled off a header to himself and cleared the ball so calmly. I doubt there are many defenders in the world that could do that. Robertson was solid on and off the ball. Mlner played like he was ten years young than her really is. Henderson marshalled the midfield in Fabinho's absence perfectly. Keita was quietly brilliant and showed that as long as he stays fit, that he can always put in a top performance. Mane continues to prove all his doubters wrong. The rumours of his demise were greatly exaggerated. Bobby Firmino got a hat trick and effortlessly linked up our midfield with our attack. Mohamed Salah Hamed Mahrous Ghaly is currently the best player in the world, he's just unstoppable. I thought his goal versus Man City couldn't be topped and then in the next league game, he goes and scores one just as amazing. Our next game versus Atletico Madrid in the Champions League will be tough, so this was a perfect confidence boost.

  And breathe. We never do things the easy way, but we're smart enough to learn how to better manage games when we're in the lead. Going away to Atletico Madrid was always going to be tough and I would've taken a point before kick off. But drawing after going 2 nil up would've been disappointing. Alisson played a massive part in us earning the three points. Alexander-Arnold was solid and always a threat going forward. Matip was calm and smart in possession. Van Dijk could've been a little bit sharper at times but he was still outstanding. Robertson covered every blade of grass. Keita always scores screamers. Henderson was solid. Milner kept running. Fabinho added some much needed calm and reassurance in and out if possession. Oxlade-Chamberlain added some energy. Jota had a decent chance. Mane was a constant threat. Firmino is like a ninja. Salah always scores goals. Griezmann deserved a red. Winning three out of three in this season's group of death has been perfect.

  FIVE. I hope Ole stays at the wheel for as long as possible. We didn't even need to get out of second gear to win, and it could've been worse if we didn't take our foot off the gas in the second half. The only downside to the result was the injuries to Milner and Keita. Klopp said Milner pulled his hamstring and that Naby might be relatively OK, but we have to wait for the swelling to go down and for him to get scanned. Alisson barely had anything to do. Trent was solid defensively and always a threat offensively. Konate was brilliant for someone so young and new to the league. Van Dijk was excellent. Robertson was brilliant. Keita was amazing up until he was injured. OX did well despite the tempo of the game slowing down. Milner covered every blade of grass as usual until he git injured. Jones stepped up to the plate perfectly as his substitute. Jota took his goal brilliantly. Firmino's pressing, hold up play and link up play is why we're so good offensively and defensively. Mohamed Salah proved yet again why he's the best player in the world currently. I was surprised to find out that he is the first player to score a hat-trick at Old Trafford since the start of the Premier League era.

  Into the next round. That wasn't the best or easiest game to watch, but at the end of the day we won, and that's the most important thing. Preston were unlucky to not score in the first half that had a few decent chances. Adrian pulled off a couple massive saves. Neco did brilliant to get two assists, and he could've got a third towards the end, if he passed to Taki instead of shooting himself. Gomez looked a little rusty, but that's to be expected due to his injury last season, and lack of game time this season. Matip was fine, and hopefully he hasn't picked up a knock. Phillips was great in the second half, and proved why he's a solid option as a 5th choice centreback. Tsimikas took time to get into the game, but his cross did lead up to Origi's wonder goal. Morton was excellent, and showed that's he's got a bright future. Ox looked rusty, but still worked hard. Jones was OK, and showed a couple flashes of individual skill. Blair struggled to get into the game. Bradley did OK when he cam on. Taki took his goal brilliantly. That Origi goal was a gloriously beautiful work of abstract art. With a bit of luck we'll get Sunderland in the next round. But either way if we want to win the cup then we'll have to play a "big" team eventually.

  Disappointed. We were bound to drop more points at some stage in the season. Credit to Brighton they were brilliant. We seem to have a tendency of not holding onto leads very well so far this season. Our inability to manage the tempo and possession of the ball, once we take a lead seems strange. Alisson was brilliant and pulled off a few big saves. Trent was awful in and out of possession. Konate was constantly out of sync with the rest of our defence. Van Dijk was OK. Robertson can't seem to deliver a good cross anymore. Henderson scored a great goal, but didn't protect our defence well. Jones was just as bas as Trent. Naby got injured again, hopefully it isn't too bad. Ox came on to replace him and he was anonymous. Firmino couldn't hold up the ball. Salah was bright and energetic. Mane was probably our best player. Hopefully we'll learn from this result and stop letting teams back into games once we have the lead. I think we'll be fine once Fabinho, Milner and Thiago are fit. If we can win our next game versus Atletico in the Champions League, then we'll be through to the last 16 stage, and can just focus on the league until February. I doubt Chelsea can maintain their form, so we need to be in position to capitalise on any errors. Man City look like their falling off the pace too.
