  Murray loses the first set (also his first drop of the tournament) and it's currently 3-3 in the second.
  
  Can he turn it around?

  It'll take a big effort from Murray to turn this around now.

  Well what a bit of a day, Djokovic continues to sail through, Ferrer literally gets blown away by Del Potro after it seemed Del Potro would almost certainly not last the first set???
  The Jerzy Janowicz showed why he's being talked about a lot, by seeing off his fellow countryman in 3 sets. He is one to watch, and could be up there alongside the likes of Murray and Djokovic next year.
  Then Andy loses the first 2 sets to a very handy (but only 9th raked Spaniard) Verdasco, but then decided he actually wanted it badly enough and started to take those important points he was missed in the first 2 and although the 3rd set was a romp for him, the 4th and 5th was still hard going. Maybe that's the match he needed to gee himself up for the title??? He'll have to see off that Pole first though...

  The women's semis later and first on court will be Marion Bartoli vs Kirsten Flipkens. This is the first time these two have met so no prior stats to go on, although Bartoli has the experience of being this far in tournaments previously, while a Grand slam semi debut for Flipkens. It's a pretty even match up although Flipkens looked the better in her quarter final match.. A tough one to call but Flipkens could get this in 3 sets.
  
  
  Then the new darling of tennis Sabine Lisicki vs Aggie Radwanska, and their head to head is 1-1 and this is the first time they've met on grass. Both have experience in Grand Slams but Lisicki has been on a roll while Radwanska has struggled, so I'm going with Lisicki in straight sets, sorry Aggie....

  You ought to go there Scotty, the people are very nice, but the language is a bitch to learn and understand lol, I tried but failed misearably, oh and yes they do like their vodka...
  
  Bartoli takes the first set 6-1, and breaks the first game in the second... this may be over a lot quicker than I thought!
  
  Indeed it was with Bartoli racing to a 6-1, 6-2 win, lets hope the next semi is more of a match...

  At least the second semi was more of a match with Lisicki almost throwing it away but coming through eventually 6-4, 2-6, 9-7 and so plays Bartoli in the final. She's the first German woman to reach the Wimbledon final since seven-time champion Steffi Graf in 1999.
  Earlier Bartoli impressed me in her match, if both play their A game it will be a stonker of a final...

  Friday and it's the Men's semi final day.
  First up on centre court will be Novak Djokovic and Juan Martin Del Potro - the head to head is 8-3 to Nole but they have only met once on grass, that was in last years Olympics at Wimbledon and Del Potro took the spoils that day. This will depend on how Del Potro's knee is holding up, he beat Ferrer who was below par to be honest in his match, but Djokovic will be another matter. If Del Potro is restricted, this is Djokovic's in 3 sets (he's around 1/7 to win today...), but if Del Potro can run around a bit this will be another cracker of a match, and reside on a couple of tie-breaks to extend the match into a 4th or 5th set.
  I'll be very surprised though if we don't see Djokovic in the final...
  
  
  Then the nation will be watching (!) as Andy Murray takes on a rather large - 6ft 8inch - Jerzy Janowicz. Their head to head is 1-1, both times played on indoor hard courts. Both have similar records coming through the rounds in this tournament, so heads or tails it will be for this one, Andy may want it badly but so will Janowicz, expect a tough match and lots of aces - Janowicz averaging 18 per match and Murray 12 in the tournament.. Murray won't be able to let his guard down here, or it will over for him, and I can't see him coming back from 2 sets down with this guy... Djokovic will be hoping fo a tough 5 setter, as he may face a more mentally drained opponent then in the final. The bookies have Murray at about 1/5 to win, at ~ 7/2 Janowicz may be worth a punt.

  What are the odds on Murray to win the tournament now Russy?
  
  Wondering how inevitable the bookies think a loss to Djokovic in the final is.
