If Juan Mata does end up joining Man Utd for £40m, should David Moyes a) be delighted to have finally got his hands on a tricksy Spanish midfielder or, b) concerned that Chelsea now feel they can send his like to Old Trafford safe in the knowledge that their own prospects won't be harmed as a result? Wouldn't flog him to Arsenal, would they?

PSG could be about to drop €90m on Eden Hazard and €60m on Paul Pogba. They probably won't of course but still, €150m eh? Big boy shit.

Steve Bruce wants Sulley Muntari to swap Milan for Hull, and reckons a £4m bid ought to do it. Unlikely you may say, but the Ghana international did used to play for Portsmouth, so he's got form when it comes to coastal shit-holes.

In veteran striker news, Samuel Eto'o will rejoin Mallorca when his Chelsea contract expires in the summer and Daniel Levy is keen on bringing Dimitar Berbatov back to White Hart Lane. Tim Sherwood though, is apparently less enthralled by the prospect.

Alou Diarra wants out of West Ham, Modibo Maiga could be shipped off to Turkey and Ravel Morrison might not see out the month at Upton Park either. Unorthodox behaviour for a club already so short of numbers but sometimes a trim of the wage bill is necessary. Joleon Lescott's don't come cheap.

Julio Cesar is still gathering dust on the QPR bench. In your own time...

Busy old day on the old rumour front there...

Julio Cesar shall be released! To Cagliari, for a small fee. Where were Sunderland? They're having to make do with some chap called Oscar Ustari between the sticks. He's Argentinian, and he's signed up until the end of the season.

If Twitter is to be believed then Dante's off to Man Utd. If the Mata deal (still no bid) happens as well I fancy them for a Europa League push.

Fulham are after Porto's quite good Belgium midfielder Steven Defour and have also made a bid for Neil Taylor. Swansea will pocket that cash and put it towards that Rhys Williams they've been saving up for.

Liverpool are weighing up a bid for former Man City bruiser Nigel de Jong. Elsewhere on Merseyside, Lacina Traore is but a work permit application away from his dream loan move to Everton. No such luck for Juan Agudelo though. The USA international's application was rejected so he's been packed off to Utrecht, mere minutes after signing for Stoke.

Napoli were keen on Etienne Capoue, but now they're not fussed. Probably that Daniel Levy after mad money, as usual.

Remy Cabella's joining Newcastle! But not until the summer! And 19 year-old right back Elliott Kebbie (Yorkshire lad, but he was at Atletico Madrid!) is set to sign for Hull.
