  I think it is not a bad idea for others to say how badly they miss the freephone number and how they would like it to be fixed as soon as possible. Provided that they are genuinely trying to fix the issue, that should be all that is needed. However, I do not understand why it should be such a problem technically. It may be that other factors are at work as well which we are not party to which may need to be negotiated.
  
  I have a large amount of free minutes that I want to use up as well like Tony, so it would be a massive blow for me personally to lose them overnight and the girls would lose a lot of my business too, as I cannot afford to call often. However, with my fractured relationship with admin, I suspect my voice being added to the issue would have a negative not positive impact on the outcome.

  I am off for a 2 week holiday in The Gambia which is purely a pleasure trip with friends. We will be watching wildlife and meeting people who my friend knows well and who supports financially. He has paid for their daughter to go to university so they should be quite friendly.
  
  We have our own guide and driver plus our own vehicle, so we will be travelling about each day, not just sat by the pool baking in the sun for 2 weeks like most tourists.

  Sounds fabulous duke and I really hope you have a great time  We will all miss your presence and contributions The only problem is I just feel very jealous and wish I was going as well - Dreams - haha

  Thanks for the good wishes Tony. Only thing is that I will miss Thai Chat and the regular banter on here too. 
  
  Mark had it just about right with his amusing comment about starting a book on how long it will take me to ring a girl on my return. I expect that I will be switching on my laptop as soon as I put my case down.
  
  I am looking forward to the dozens of videos I can watch of all the hot shows that I will have missed. Hopefully there will be some.

  yeah Grandduke that sounds fantastic. hats off to your friend for supporting the education of the people in Africa too. of course i am supporting Jasmine's education, but not quite soselflessly.
  i visited Africa years ago and i took some photos of the native girls. but they were not developed. but by the time you get there i am sure that will not be a problem.

  I'm just hoping that the phones will be fixed by the time you return At the current rate theres a distinct possibillity that may not be the case I will keep pressing for them to sort it out lets hope its sorted soon

  I am very hopeful that the phone issue will be sorted out this week. I just hope that there is not an impasse and the issues involved are dealt with satisfactorily, so we can go back to calling the girls on the freephone number. I have saved up a lot of minutes that I want to use on supporting the channel and it would be a real shame if they are just lost.

  I agree with you duke we have a lot to lose  But I was encouraged by some comments Devious made in another thread about the issue on 3rd January 2019 I think they are working hard to resolve the issue
