This bug caused considerable unrest amongst regular users and meant that videos often finished after 2 or 3 minutes instead of the 15 minutes the recorder may have been hoping for.Hey, I was able to access the videos from February and March 2017 yesterday. Are you still having that problem?
Other videos just mysteriously disappeared without ever appearing on the Tube. Perhaps another feature introduced to limit the additional space used for new videos. Maybe a draconian decision was then made to surreptitiously remove nearly 6 months of videos in the hope that no-one would notice that they had done this. They could then remove the space limiting bugs that were causing so many complaints because a lot of new space had been freed up by the large scale deletions.
Only a theory but it would explain a lot of the mysterious idiosyncrasies of the Tube.
