  thanks for that Spartan, i went on immediately after reading mrZzz comments and was amazed at the number of models. i went past 100s looking for Asians. i passed a couple and thought i would go back later but there were so many. i had not noticed the tab on the side until you mentioned it. there were not many Asian i could see after i refined the search and the ones i could were in ( i presume ) their own homes . alone. no body was laughing like Daisy used to do ( ahh i miss Daisy ) and being alone there would be none of the party atmosphere that could be great on thai chat. so i will give it another go but not sure it is going to fill the void left by Daisy and Minny. if anyone gets a nice girl who does not block the chat and is open for a laugh then let us know here and we could all meet up in her room.

  That would be so much fun if we could all arrange to meet a nice Asian girl in her room at a certain time, a bit like having a Zoom appointment. I miss all you chaps and the fun we used to have with the girls. Remember the tipping frenzy? Ah, those were the days.
  
  I see that Mikey99 has set up a thread now for us to reminisce on. I suggest that we also leave links to some of our favourite videos  there for us to watch when we feel like we are missing them a lot. Good videos in the old Tube are so hard to find again now that they have stopped you from saving them in your own favourites, so having that handy link will be a benefit to everyone and no-one can claim any more that it is costing them any business, a claim I always disputed anyway.

  Thanks to the advice that spartan58 has given us, I have re-entered the Cams section once more and used the filter to only show Asian girls 18 to 35. I excluded trans for now to restrict the number of hits to what I thought would be  a more manageable level.
  
  Over 520 girls appeared but I am not sure how effective the filter is or how honest the performers are about their origin or age. I am sure that I got at least 2 men(!) and one old biddy who looked as though she had a daughter over 35 never mind herself! But I did discover that there were 2 Daisys and also a Nana, Kitty and Maya. The latter did look like a possibility for the real Maya but the thumbnail was pretty small so that isn't certain by any means, Interestingly there was also a young buxom Jasmine Thai which definitely attracted my interest. She is marooned in Indonesia and probably short of money and without a job currently so she would definitely be up for some extra cash I am sure. But all these girls were offline so i could not check any of them out.
  
  But I will try to connect with this Jasmine to see if by a million to one shot, she could actually hit the target and be the one and only.

  Sorry but I cannot remember her exact name and there are so many to trawl through. What made me look twice at her was that she included Maya within her channel name so that got me thinking. The model called Jasmine actually used the name Jasmine Thai which is her actual Thai Chat name if it really is her. If it isn't her then it is quite a coincidence.
  
  They really need to add one or more of the following 5 elements to the functionality of the Cams section to enhance the visitor experience there and subsequently increase its footfall and revenue. 
  
  1. Incorporate a Search facility so you can navigate to an interesting girl you have found previously.
  2. Allow you to add favourite channels to your account so they are readily available to you. Ironically you can do this on the main website where it isn't essential merely useful, as there are only about 30 channels to start with but not on the Cams section where there are literally many thousands of channels to wade through otherwise.
  3. Add Online now to the filters so you can choose to have only these displayed if you wish.
  4. Sort the channels properly in alphabetical order starting with all online now and then those offline.
  5. Add notifications so you can be told when one of your favourite channels has appeared online.
  
  One negative to these cams though is that they have no phone link so you cannot talk to them apart from in the chat. Even that is far from satisfactory as I was kicked out of a models room in just a few minutes after asking her a couple of friendly questions, presumably as she did not like the size of my balance. It seems that size does matter lads!
  
  In addition, there are so many cams the individual girls get very few callers to their room which mean that they just sit there looking bored if you drop by, Judging by what I have seen, you have to pay £2 per minute for a private show before they will do anything vaguely interesting, which means that you cannot window shop first before you buy. That would put a lot of people off I think including myself. There are plenty of cam sites already with a much bigger footfall where the models put on a show first and wait for the customers to bite the bait unlike here where they seem to have a doze on the river bank and naively wait for fish to jump into their net without doing anything to draw them in.

  you say use a search facilty. i have used the ones mentioned previously by ticking asian in the filters. but is there any way of entering a girls name to search directly for her. if not it is ridiculous.
  
  i usually search the asian girls and south america together and then just the asian girls. incredibly i get girls not included in my original joint search. so the filters thing is not great.
  
  i get the impression a lot of the girls are asian students in dorms, but there are some from the phillipines and the difference in their rooms is staggering. the level of poverty there must be terrible. i read some comments on one of the filipina girls blog and someone said she was only after the GOLD' seriously did he think that with that level of poverty it was a hobbly.
  
  another thing i noticed is the Indian girls ( mainly ) do not show their faces ( whether they do or not in pvt i do not know ) presumably there is a level of danger being associated with this type of thing. there was one indian girl who i chatted a bit with who showed her face 'CUTEBENGALIGIRL' but she too seemed to be in dire financial straits so i guess that maybe she is a lower caste and it cannot get any worse for her.
  
  i see my credits are worth 10 percent what they were but since i do not know how much a pvt is i cannot make a judgement . anyone know how much it is per minute pvt ?

  I think that it is the equivalent of £2 per minute for private. They don't appear to have any pervcam so the only choice they seem to have is to show to everyone or make their webcam private only. But this means that there is nothing to see without paying premium rate and for all you know she might take 5 minutes to get down to business.
  
  I mentioned above that they need a search facility which you seem to endorse as well, because it is ridiculous expecting you to wade through thousands of girls just to find the one you spoke to last week. I hope that they are on other cam sites too as they will probably starve to death waiting for someone to find them who wants to spend lots of cash for an uncertain return.
  
  If you login, it will show your credit balance in gold coins which is whee I discovered that 1 gold coin is equal to 10 credits, so basically a pound. The girl I looked at, her private was 2 gold coins per minute hence £2 per minute. No idea if that is standard or if it varies between the girls.

  thankyou Mr Zzz, you are the font of all knowledge on here. just like the Grandduke was. Anyway i have just come back from the new site. not sure i will be taken by it the same way as thai chat. maybe there is too much choice there and a global audience with no chance of chatting with regulars. so the prices vary from girl to girl. I mentioned the 'CUTEBENGALIGIRL1992' well anyway for a pvt it is $2:49 per minute ( not sure what that is in the queens currency ) and for 'WILDKINKYASS' who seems to be an impoverished filipina it is $1:99 per minute. not much difference but this is only a small sample . others may vary more.

  So the prices do vary then. That gives another option therefore that could be incorporated into a sort selection; sort by price as is common on most retail websites. Rather appropriate that you compared me to GD. That is because I AM GD! My old user account got corrupted which means that I cannot log on to the forum with that name although it can be used to log into the chat and I was allowed to spend all my credits on that account on the Thai girls before the shows ended. For that I am eternally grateful.
  
  Amy is a smart lady and she rumbled me one day on the chat and instead of just blocking me when logged in as Mr zzks she said out of the blue 'I know that is you GrandDuke'. I nearly fell off my chair with surprise. Our conversation was then even quite civil on the chat and I promised to ring her the next day for what turned out to be the final time, after a hiatus of nearly 2 years. We buried the hatchet on that call which was a nice closure of unfinished business before the channel expired. I explained all this in the forum at the time but it seems stjohn66 that you didn't notice that.

  I agree with most of what you say Jonrock. This site has little appeal for me now apart from maybe the occasional Mr P show where it is . real and not all fake. I think we know now where Amy got her idea for fake sex shows on Thai Chat from, usually involving Naomi and some rather reluctant other girl.
  
  The cam website does not support phone calls so you can only speak to them via the chat box which is so unsatisfactory if you want to build a relationship between you and a certain girl. That is if you can ever find her again with little to help you do so. So unless I can find a time when Jasmine Thai is online and I can check if it really is our legendary Jasmine marooned by Covid in Indonesia or not, I doubt that I will be using it much unless it becomes a lot more user friendly. I have more than an hour of free minutes that are as much use to me as a chocolate fireguard as I was unable to use them to speak to the Thai girls in the last few months and there is no-one else that I want to ring.
  
  I too keep checking in here like a loyal dog standing guard over its dead owner, reluctant to leave despite the obvious futility of of it all. Hoping against hope that one day I will see that they are back again. By the way Jonrock, you can still keep your account even if you are no longer active on here which will allow you to comment in the forum still any time that you feel like it. Like I am now for instance. I will keep the memories living on by re-watching the old videos that we have on here including some of the legendary shows of the past. I bit like watching repeats on TV but better. We have a thread to help with this that hs been recently rekindled if you feel like doing likewise.
