  Thanks outofrack for that explanation. It is all much clearer now. So this makes it perfectly possible for the audio and video to be matched up nearly perfectly but transmitted 15 minutes in arrears, so a phone call which gives sound in real time would have no relation to what you might see or hear on screen.
  
  But if the stream video shows a girl reacting or replying to your comments in the chat box with just a few seconds delay, wouldn't this be an indication that there is very little time lag if you were to make a phone call? I would have thought so, but Bucket says that the lag was dreadful yesterday on a call when the pictures seem to mirror chat box conversations. I would be fooled into thinking this and be very disappointed if I made a call and had the same issues as last week when the call was totally unconnected with my phone conversation, as he encountered yesterday.

  This area of IT is very unfamiliar to me as my skills were in systems analysis and languages used were COBOL, ABAP, SCL and JCL with a bit of Workflow as well. Voice over IP and data packets were dealt with by other specialist teams segregating me from learning anything about those areas.

  Totally new development this morning. I was watching the web stream show and Amy was on a call, putting on a great show as usual. The chat box was dead despite her attempts to drum up business. Then suddenly out of the blue I got a PM from her which appeared in the chat box that apparently only I could see. When I replied she asked me to call. I thought only the UK girls could do this but as I never ring them, I have never seen this before. This must be a new feature introduced with their technology upgrade.
  
  This suggests to me that now the girls can see that you are watching the show if you are logged in and who knows maybe even your credit balance too, as has been suggested by someone. This will probably mean that I will be bombarded with messages from girls I have called before, every time I try and watch a show and begging me to call them. This will put me off watching the shows or force me to watch anonymously by being logged out, which is a bit pointless if paying for VIP.

  Another major development happened soon after.  Amy sent me a PM telling me 'do no recording' which suggested that she could even see that I was doing that as well. This kills VIP for me completely if I cannot record and even worse, the girls can see that I am doing it, which raises me into public enemy number 2 after derryman when they see that.
  
  Babestation have already stopped allowing recording on their day shows but apparently still allow it for LSL and Thai Chat. Despite that being the case, there are no LSL videos to be seen whatsoever for the last few weeks so it may be the case that the function is still there but are deliberately being blocked from being posted. Last night no recordings for the Babestation night shows have been posted when normally there would be a dozen or more. However, Thai Chat videos are still working, as ones I recorded yesterday and today are there, so have Babestation now blocked the recording of night shows too?
  
  If that is the case there will be hardly any videos posted any more, just Thai Chat ones, but even these may stop soon if recorders get private messages telling them to stop. Rampant VIPs will be cancelling in their droves if that is the case and sadly I will be one of them.
  
  Needless to say, to avoid the volcanic wrath of Amy, I stopped and did not save my video of Amy that was recording at the time. Even if she cannot see this website any more, her bosses in the UK can and may well tell her if people are recording shows of her or others.

  These technical improvements that have happened lately seem like a good thing but actually have a heavy price that comes with them. I fear that phone calls may actually fall instead of increase with the changes I have outlined earlier. 
  
  If I am no longer a VIP my call time will certainly fall with less free minutes earned and with no regular top-up to my credits happening every month, pervcam visits will become even rarer. It would be ironic if when money is finally invested in the channel, it causes a reduction in revenue rather than the expected increase to cover the extra costs involved.

  I was just having a chat with Daisy, being silly as normal, Minny face was so funny as Daisy was reading out what I was saying. Amy was behind the camera as per norm, so they were having a laugh. Minny face though was cracking me up.
  Clearly she doesn’t know me at all.

  What made me laugh a bit later was Daisy and Amy chatting. I said that Daisy needed a holiday. I’d already told her how cold it is getting over these parts.
  You could see Daisy shaking her head saying it was too cold. Cheered me up.
  End of shift She was very much close down and feck off.

  Interesting developments, GrandDuke. I can’t quite remember where I saw/read this, but someone mentioned there’s a whole new aspect when you go into pervcam now that when you finish, you get to review the girl out of five stars afterwards and write comments. Did you get this last week with Nana, Derry? Would have been a zero star review I suspect.
  
  When I get a chance, I’ll have to try this out with Nana of course.
  
  Finally, I find it very surprising that phone calls would have that much of a delay. I can’t explain that I’m afraid, especially as I don’t really know what their phone system is like.
  I think IT guys are expected to know everything these days. The employees at my place certainly do anyway but to be honest most of the time I haven’t got much of a forking clue either.
