  I think the whole of Babestation is doing upgrades hence everything has gone to pot. Usual story for Thai Chat to be the least of their worries. I think the channel is becoming more popular though.

  It seems that the reason why Bella was missing from the channel list earlier was because she has not got used to the technology yet. Fortunately, we now have the chat box so I was able to tell her that she had no stream and we were watching the TV pictures of Nancy on her stream.
  
  After several false alarms, she managed to fix the issue by logging in and out on her system, otherwise she would have been sat there all night performing to her camera with no-one watching. One big advantage of the chat box.

  The clamp-down on this channel is unreal. Here we have Alice on the 4am show, about whom we got so excited for her sexy, edgy, energetic shows, and now she just sits on the couch, barely moving, and Maya next to her just the same. I only lasted 30 minutes today, just too hard to watch and think about the magnificent spicy shows before this latest censorship. It's only deepened recently.

  Whenever I have tried to get to the bottom of the current censorship clampdown it has been a case of smoke and mirrors. Worries over videos keeps being mentioned by any girl you speak to and the sniffing around of police seems to be making them nervous too, ensuring they don't overstep an imaginary mark.
  
  Amy even threw another element into the mix the other day, saying that they cannot show nudity on day shows, despite being on the web. It seemed pointless to argue with her that the day show concept only applies to TV, not web shows and it was in the middle of the night in Thailand so it certainly wasn't a day show there. As usual, I have no idea about what is really driving this clampdown, as these reasons appear to be almost a shoal of red herrings.

  Yes, that conversation is pointless because whatever this week's reason, it will change next week and then suddenly one day nudity will reappear in clear contradiction to whatever dire threats she told you about before. And I have never known Amy to be the slightest bit interested in hearing any reasoned argument for changing the format or content of the show during times such as these, and to a point I understand because she is probably twisting in the wind of all the pressures coming from six different directions over which she has no control. I can understand too that she reacts against the argument that the Thai channel should follow BS's or ofcom's rules, because we know that things in Thailand are different. But in an odd way, whenever I would talk about nudity - hey, you have 17 hours without nudity, can't we get one with; or that show was great, couldn't we have more like that - she always turned that argument around to accuse me of being dirty and that it's not all about nudity. So yeah, it seems pointless to even broach the topic.

  Funnily enough she broached the subject with me rather than the other way around. Maybe she thought that I would ask the question anyway at some point. So she started saying why they can't have nudity seemingly as a defensive measure to kill any thoughts I might have of raising the issue.
  
  Even though she said some things I disagreed with,  I knew better than argue with her as that would have been a bad mistake on my part. But it is frustrating that the girl in charge has all the answers but refuses to give them. Probably under orders to do so I expect from those above her. But as we know from experience, everything can always change tomorrow.

  But are they on TV at 4am? Has anyone seen them at that time? I have recorded the only channels that seem possible for them to be on and it is just UK girls until 5am. If they are on, what Sky channel number is it?

  No idea if they’re on TV at 4am. I only get to check this site on my mobile at 6am before heading to work for the rest of the day, and this week they haven’t even been on my phone for most of it *sad times*
  
  To answer an earlier question for you Duke; you are quite correct in saying that the audio and video would be sent out as two separate streams. Further more, I’d imagine that at Thai Chat HQ (aka somewhere we’d all like to do work experience at, aka Amy’s front room (maybe)), they’d have a encoder which would compress the feeds, which then go to the streaming server where they are broken down into small packets before being sent out to is, which then arrive at our devices before being reassembled by our built-in decoders (flash) on our web browsers. The aim is to get the audio and video streams matched up but there are numerous reasons why this may not happen, especially as audio packets are smaller/less complex than video ones.
  
  Our next lesson will be on MySQL databases and VLan configurations.

  thanks for explaining that out of. thought that's what the trouble was. seems obvious now. MySQL databases are ignored far too much in my opinion. As for VLan…… well!
