Ere forgot to mention.. Charlie Austin for £4m.. not a bad bit of business there in my opinion (as long as he stays injury free :P). Im a bit jealous that your lot got him tbh :) Wtf was Daniel Levy thinking :( -

be a pretty decent duo if they choose to play them both upfront together with Austin and Pelle, -

It'd have been a classic Daniel Levy signing, and just what you need right now as well. What made me laugh was the amount of fans from teams like Newcastle and Villa being all like 'why didn't we sign him!' To be fair lads, Southampton's probably the better bet at present but Spurs would have certainly made a fight of it.
As for the injuries, I think people are a little bit too swayed by gossip of a failed medical at Hull, or comments by one of the berks at West Ham, because if you actually look at his record...
...pretty much ever-present for QPR last season, and not too many chunks of games missing earlier on in his career. Yeah he was out for 9 or 10 this year but anyone can pick up the odd injury, he's hardly Daniel Sturridge.

Not sure we'll see too much of Pelle and Austin together. Quite similar players and we're not really set up for a standard 4-4-2. I'd expect Pelle to move on in the summer.
But yeah, all in all, cracking signing! -

D'ya know what... i actually did hear a pundit say the other day the exact same as what your stats there say and i didnt think to have a look myself (or i wouldnt have included 'if he stays injury free' in my above post). Good bit of business and im gutted Spurs never signed him. Instead we go for the usual 'fucking around and getting nobody or someone below par' :(
And Daniel Sturridge injured for yet ANOTHER 10 days... tut tut tut :P -

Had to laugh watching Final Score when Yoda {Garth Crookes} said the Old Trafford crowd were booing, had turned on LVG, and he was even less popular than Moyes :D -

4 points from trips to Old Trafford and the Emirates, i'd have probably taken that... ;)
We've obviously got Forster to thank for the draw. He's been back for 4 games now and still not conceded. If Stekelenburg was between the sticks last night we'd have probably lost 2 or 3 nil, makes all the difference eh?
Also, how healthy is the keeper situation looking for England now? Hart playing well, Fraser fit again, Jack Butland emerging. It's a far cry from Scott Carson and Rob Green.
West Ham at home next, massive game. Win that and we're just 2 points behind them, right in the mix for European qualification. To think, this time last month I was worried about getting sucked in to a relegation battle. Mental season!
