  Think I've said before but we need to go and spend £15-20m on another option up top, be it a winger or out-and-out striker.  Could be just the thing to lift spirits around the place and show we've got a bit of ambition.

  Norwich 1-0 Southampton! I'm surprised Southampton lost this fixture, something is clearly not right with them this season. I think Ronald Koeman needs to take some action and kick some asses out the door and bring some fresh asses in! They just seem so much worse defensively this season. They have some good players, but they're clearly making mistakes. Southampton really need to keep it tight at the backside, ooohhhh!
  
  A real shame, I'd like to see Southampton higher up the Premier League table, just not too high :)

  Southampton 1-2 Crystal Palace FA Cup! I thought this would be a close game, in fact I predicted a 1-1 draw! Another shitty result see's Southampton continue their slide further down the toilet of football results! I think it's about time the club takes a good look at just how crummy the results have been this season and start asking Ronald Koeman some simple questions, like, what the fuck is going on in this gaff? Southampton are not improving their situation, this isn't good enough I'm afraid and I dare say some swift ass kicking is required to refocus the manager and his team!
  
  Another good result for Crystal Palace. They're doing so well on their limited budget, what class! :)

  Innit Juice! We've got home league games against Watford and West Brom in the next few days, and if we don't win at least one of those then we're in serious trouble.
  
  And, dare I say it, Koeman will be under serious pressure. Yeah he was amazing for us last season, but Jose Mourinho and Garry Monk had pretty good years too. Where are they now...
  
  BUT, the board need to step up too. Leave the player-trading profits for a bit and spend big on a creative midfielder/number ten, one that'll chip in with a few goals, because other than Mane we've got nothing in that area right now.

  I think youll struggle against both of those two teams. Hope im proven wrong though. Who else could Soton get in if they flogged Koeman though... Peps always available at the end of the season :P

  Southampton are in an interesting position. If the bad run continues they could slide closer to relegation. I don't see them being relegated this season, but I think they should be doing better than they have. I think they'll win both of their next two home games. One problem I noticed in the stats is a lack of goals in away games. In their last ten away games, they've scored in six and only scored more than one goal in two away games! They're not a bad team defensively, but not as good as last season. Buying appropriate players is good, but I think they must be careful who they sell too!
  
  Five clean sheets in 20 games! I think they're missing the points from one nill wins! :)

  Here are some upsetting facts! So far this season, Southampton have conceded thirteen goals in home games! That's the exact number they conceded the whole of last season in home games! In terms of results, the've lost four home games so far this season. The exact same number they lost at home the whole of last season! So, as far as home games go, it's the defense that seems to be costing them results! Remember, the stats are objective!
  
  I do expect Watford to score at least one goal, but I don't think West Brom will! Lets say 2-1 and 1-0, sounds good :)

  Southampton 2-0 Watford! That's more like the Southampton of last season! I think this was a very good result. Watford have been good in away games this season. In fact, Southampton could've and maybe should've scored more here! They did well at restricting Watford and deserved their clean sheet! I hope Southampton can press on from here, they've got some good players and the potential to finish higher up the Premier League table than where they're currently!
  
  At home to West Brom next and another win for Southampton I think :)

  Southampton 3-0 West Brom! Wow I think this is a very impressive result! I thought Southampton would win, but what an impressive scoreline. That's two wins in a row, five goals scored and two clean sheets, wonderful! This is more like Southampton of last season, rock solid defense and yet still dangerous going forward. I hope this form continues in their away games. Another plus for Southampton is the signing of Charlie Austin form QPR, although he didn't play today! £4, 000,000 for four years! That's not a bad price for a guy who scored a lot of goals in the Premier League last season!
  
  Southampton fans my indeed enjoy a good celebration wank on Rampant tonight :)
