  I honestly hope Soton are as good next season as they were the last season. Its like fresh air.. lovely :)
  Plus i really enjoyed Soton in the earlier days of them prem.. As far as im concerned, Soton are one of the prem original ish teams.. Like the prem needs them there in my opinion.

  It'll be tough without Clyne, Schneiderlin and Alderweireld. The Europa will be a slog too.
  
  I'm saying just about top half for next season, maybe a cup run or two.

  Speculation is growing that Arsenal have agreed to pay Southampton £24m for French international midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.
  It seems that Arsenal's search for a defensive midfielder may soon be over amid growing speculation that a deal has been agreed with Southampton for French international Morgan Schneiderlin.
  It's suggested that Arsenal have offered the £24m fee that Southampton are looking for, with Schneiderlin said to be very keen on a move to the Emirates
  The 25-year-old holding midfielder has been linked with a move to North London for more than a year but was told last summer that he had to stay at Southampton.
  
  That led to a furious response on Twitter from the former Strasbourg trainee, who has been at St Mary's since 2008.

  Southampton made a successful return to European competition by beating Vitesse Arnhem in the first leg of their Europa League third qualifying round tie.
  Playing their first Euro tie since 2003, Graziano Pelle opened the scoring with a right-foot shot after Sadio Mane's neat ball in.
  Dusan Tadic converted a penalty to double the lead after Mane was tripped in the area on the stroke of half-time.
  Substitutes Shane Long and Juanmi combined late on as Long headed home.
  It was Saints' first win in European competition since 1981 and the two sides will meet again in the return leg in Arnhem next Thursday with Ronald Koeman's side in a strong position.
  Progression there would send them into a play-off tie for a place in the group stages.

  Was expecting a bit more from Vitesse really, though they did have a couple of chances to pull one back when got sloppy at the start of the second half.
  
  Can't argue with the result though, and the 3rd from Long late on has probably put the tie to bed.
  
  Mane MOM for me, he looks to be carrying on from where he left off last season. The new lad Cedric at right-back looks a player too. Nathaniel who?

  As ive said before, i want them to do well. I like Soton and i think they should always be in the prem. Hopefully they push on from last season and give the top 4 a good challenge. Id like to see them win the Europa League too.. that is if Spurs dont (which they probably wont) :P
  I miss the good old days of Le Tiss too :(

  If you offered me 7th again I'd bite your hand off.  Gonna be tough to replicate last season with all the extra European games, but bring it on!
