  And here are the full-times:
  
  Aston Villa 3-2 Man City
  Fulham 1-2 Cardiff
  Hull 1-0 West Ham
  Man Utd 1-2 West Brom
  Southampton 2-0 Crystal Palace
  
  So just 7 points in their first 6 matches and United find themselves way down in 12th. It's one thing to lose at Anfield or the Etihad but against West Brom at home? This could be David Moyes' most damaging result yet.
  
  Not much better for City either and any sort of consistency still eludes them.
  
  Big win for Cardiff, and I wouldn't be surprised if that costs Martin Jol his job. Southampton and Hull's impressive start continues with home wins for both.
  
  Certainly wasn't boring, was it?

  Have you though? If they keep losing similar sorts of matches to the one they did today, how long will the board stand for it? What if they're still 12th by Christmas? It seems to me that Champions League football is vital for them financially and the owners will want to protect that.
  
  (Sort of playing devil's advocate a bit here but I can understand the bookies' thinking)

  Yep, the bookies aren't taking any chances as I suppose it's early days, but 14/1 is still too short a price as it stands at the moment.. It would be a bit unprecedented but not impossible, and if Utd don't qualify for Champions League finals then it's firing season, but how long do you wait, before either they get back to winning ways or slide into despair?
  
  This is for next manager to leave mind, not to get sacked this season... I can't see him falling into the next one category, Jol still seems, well virtually out the door if you believe the bookies price.
  
  No doubt it will give the papers a fair few columns worth of print tomorrow...

  Swansea: Vorm, Tiendalli, Chico, Amat, Ben Davies, Canas, Shelvey, Dyer, de Guzman, Routledge, Michu. Subs: Taylor, Britton, Bony, Pozuelo, Tremmel, Vazquez, Alfei.
  Arsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Flamini, Ramsey, Gnabry, Ozil, Wilshere, Giroud. Subs: Vermaelen, Arteta, Monreal, Fabianski, Bendtner, Jenkinson, Miyaichi.
  
  Can Arsenal open up a gap at the top of the table?

  What a table as it stands, Southampton in 4th, Hull in 7th, this has to be the craziest start to a season for many a year...
