  I think we'll struggle to top yesterday for excitement, and the early kick-off today looks particularly low-key...
  
  STOKE v NORWICH
  The home side have had a reasonable start under Mark Hughes and a win here will push them safely in to the top half. Norwich have struggled though and the Britannia is a tough place to go whoever's managing Stoke.
  
  Kick-off is only 15 mins away so here are the teams:
  Stoke: Begovic, Cameron, Shawcross, Huth, Pieters, Wilson, Nzonzi, Walters, Adam, Arnautovic, Jones. Subs: Whelan, Pennant, Palacios, Assaidi, Crouch, Sorensen, Ireland.
  Norwich: Ruddy, Martin, Turner, Ryan Bennett, Olsson, Tettey, Howson, Snodgrass, Fer, Pilkington, van Wolfswinkel. Subs: Whittaker, Johnson, Hooper, Bunn, Hoolahan, Elmander, Murphy.
  
  The Potters go with 2 up front and look like they've got goals in them at the moment thanks to the form of Jones. Gary Hooper has to settle for a place on the bench despite scoring twice midweek. Can van Wolfswinkel get on the scoresheet? He hasn't since the opening day.

  You're right there Scotty, today can't possible provide as much excitement.. Stoke to win though for me, you'll get around 6/5 now if you wanna bet in-play, or 15/8 for the draw...

  Bet Stoke weren't expecting that. Norwich grab a much needed win thanks to Jonny Howson's goal. The home side's decent start is looking less so now.
  
  Sunderland v Liverpool up next. Luis Suarez starts for the Scousers and Brendan Rodgers has only picked three centre halves too, he's learning.
  Sunderland stick with the same team that beat Peterborough in the cup. Understandable with wins being so rare on Wearside lately.
  
  Hear are the line-ups:
  Sunderland: Westwood, Gardner, Colback, O'Shea, Cuellar, Larsson, Ki, Cattermole, Johnson, Giaccherini, Altidore. Subs: Wickham, Celustka, Ba, Mannone, Ji, Roberge, Mavrias
  Liverpool: Mignolet, Toure, Sakho, Skrtel, Enrique, Henderson, Lucas, Gerrard, Moses, Suarez, Sturridge. Subs: Jones, Agger, Aspas, Ilori, Sterling, Ibe, Wisdom.
  
  Predictions?

  Based on the weekend so far it's got to be 4-0 to Sunderland!!!

  That's more like it... in the 28th minute Daniel Sturridge turns in from a corner to get his 11th goal from 11 games, even though he may have hit it with his arm, the goal still stands...
  Then Suarez gets the second with an easy tap in, in the 36th minute, with a nice pass to him from Sturridge, and that is 6 from 6 games against Sunderland for Suarez...
  
  That will send Liverpool back up to 2nd in the table, settled in between three London clubs... it just shows you have to make your games count when your rivals have a disaster weekend...
  
  
  Oops... A 52nd minute goal by Emanuele Giaccherini give the Sunderland crowd something to cheer about, and makes the game interesting again... 1-2
  
  and who else but Luis Suarez makes it 3-1 to Liverpool in the 89th minute with a lovely counter attack and Suarez / Sturridge link up.
  
  3 minutes of stoppage time but no matter, the final whistle goes, and 2nd place for Liverpool and, well, still bottom for Sunderland, although now they have a -10 GD... Anyone fancy the managers job there??

  Quite a strange weekend of results as the two Manchester clubs underperformed. Fair play to Liverpool and Arsenal for getting good wins away from home. West Ham look to be struggling for goals without Carroll and they need to address that asap as they can't afford to not be able to score away from home

  This is shaping up to be a topsy turvy opening start to the season. Something tells me this may continue throughout si difficult to predict a champion but the frequent bad results for all the top teams helps teams like tottenham to be in with a more realistic shout.

  Looks to be a nightmare evening at the office for Newcastle, three nil down after 45 minutes and arguably could have been a couple more than that. Chelsea fans must be wondering why they let lukaku go to everton
