  wolf of wall street was intense man, definitely the best movie of the year. leo did an amazing job, whats really messed up is that it wasnt even nominated for the baftas... aparently the dvd release has a one hour special. directors cut or something. if you havent seen it you should definitely watch it guys. honestly great movie!

  its a bloody good film, fucking awesome, id love to be him, lil bit exagerated but brilliant, how leonardo hasnt an oscar? haha but theres so many photos of him online living the life living like a boss so fuck the awards hahaha .. google image it him on a boat with so many women and stuff, he basicalyl is a real wolf of wallstreet ! ps bet hes got small dick hahaahahahahhahahahahah

  What can you say, Marin Scorsese is just a fucking legend and holy hell DiCaprio and Jonah Hill what a team. I didn't want the film to end even thought it was like 3 hours long. And that fine ass bitch wooooo

  It is indeed a good film, I feel it was a little bit too over-hyped though. Oh and to those wondering how Leo didn't get the oscar, in all fairness McConaughey was superb in Dallas Buyer's Club

  But the thing is the role Leo played was unique there may not be another role like this. But movies like Dallas Buyers Club is movie that is made every year. Now Leo is probably gonna win for a role that wont even be close to that of Wallstreet.
  
  Also im not sure about the directorscut but the original cut was waaaay longer like 6 hours or something...

  Both Leo and Matthew gave great performances, but there was no way that McConaughey was not going to win the awards. The voters love those type of sentimental stories especially if the actor who gives a great performances is resurrecting their acting career. Plus the fact that he put himself through a physical transformation by losing weight. Most importantly it's a popularity contest and simply put Leo never had a chance when going against Matthew. While Leo is a great actor who deserves to win many awards; in the acting community he is a well respected actor based on his ability but amongst his fellow performers he is not one of the popular people. His time should come and hopefully does but he really had no chance this award season.

  Yeah i agree with dvious, that chick is off the fucking hook!!!!!! I cant express how much i would have cried if i had a wife like her and she said she isnt gonna be wearing any panites no more but wearing very short short skirts. I would just wow! How i wish i had a wife like her :( oh lord please be gentle with me as I've always been a kind fella, i would love to have her!

  Whether Leo's character was unique or not doesn't make a difference in regards to the best actor award. That's something the writer deserves credit for, not Leo. Also saying that a movie like Dallas Buyer's Club is made every year (which is debatable) is also irrelevant. It's about the acting.
  
  Don't get me wrong, Leo was great but I think the right guy won in the end. But if there's one role Leo 100% deserved an oscar for it was for his part in Django in my opinion. That scene where he actually cut his hand is phenomenal when you consider he cut it fo' realsies and wasn't supposed to happen.

  My point was Leo's role was unique and only he could have played it tje way he did. I Mathew M did wall street it would not be as good as Leo's. where as i guarantee you Leo could play an awesome if not better, HIV, fighting for a cause and lose weight and all that jazz. Also the character was uniqur because of Leo not the writer. I think this movie was heavily improvised aswell not sure. Blood Diamond is where Leo could have won.
