  Paul Scholes discusses his Man Utd comeback
  
  The legendary midfielder first called time on his Old Trafford career at the end of the 2010-11 season.  Though by the following September he was getting itchy feet and eyeing a return.   He eventually re-joined United in January 2012, and went on to make a further 42 appearances for the club before hanging up his boots for good 18 months later.
  
  In this interview with BT Sport he discusses how his second coming came about and just how nerve-wracking the whole situation was.  Well worth a watch.

  Good news! It looks like Sir Alex Ferguson is on the mend.
  
  The former Man Utd boss and all-round football legend suffered a brain haemorrhage in May of this year.  At the time there were doubts as to whether he'd pull through, followed by a lengthy spell of no updates whatsoever, so it's great to see that he's over the worst of it.
  
  Here's the message he recorded for the United Twitter page.
  
  

  On Saturday 5 May, the football world was rocked by the news that Sir Alex Ferguson had undergone surgery for a brain haemorrhage.
  
  Since then, the most successful manager in English football history has battled in a way only he knows how.

  Great to see him looking so well after his awful experience. I have had a family member survive a brain tumour and have been treated for cancer myself at the very Salford Royal Hospital that he thanks in his video. They did a great job of removing the biggest tumour my consultant surgeon had ever seen from my head, even if it meant removing my entire forehead. Quite a challenge for my plastic surgeon  the next day but he performed admirably.
  
  Fortunately, I am fine now as indeed Alex seems to be. We are both Man United fans and have now shared wonderful care at a fine hospital too, so I can empathise with him more than most. Get well soon Alex.
