  We have a wonderful problem now of who do we drop? I tried to think of what players LvG would pick as first choice in that formation in the current squad based on last years form and came out with this:
  
  ...................de Gea
  Darmian..Smalling..Jones..Shaw
  .Carrick/Schweini..Schneiderlin
  ..........Mata..Herrera..Young
  ...................Rooney
  
  And that would leave out the likes of Rojo, Carrick/Schweini, Fellaini, di Maria, Wilson, Memphis, Blind, Januzaj etc

  I would definitely without a doubt get rid of Ashley young, Don't get me wrong he's been better since LvG has arrived, but seriously no were near good enough for a top for team. I would have Di Maria, Memphis, Januzaj in there every day of the week. I would probably stick Fellaini in instead of Herrera as well. Just for the sheer damage he can do with his physicality. But definitely a good problem. Last year looking at the bench was heart breaking nothing to come on really to change things up.

  I would have agreed with you 2 years ago regarding Young but he was fantastic last year. He definitely deserves another year with us. How he wasn't called up to the recent England squad still baffles me.

  really? I think He's someone that gets the ball enough to create chances and that but the amount of times he gives the ball away or theres a bad pass, for me any merits, getting shot of him.

  think we played well first half last night but changing 10 in a game is always going to ask for trouble, but can take the positives like youth team are starting to show some class but need a certain german in first team not the second half team.

  If Di Maria does leave then i dont think Man Utd will miss him much. Cant say he exactly lit up the Prem last season.
