Bollocks. Moyes inherited the Champions and all he needed to do was buy the WC midfielder that we had been lacking for about 4 years. Not only that but the club heavily advised him to sign Thiago from Barcelona as we had scouted him for years but Dave decided against because he lacked PL experience. He then tried to sign Fabregas for £20m. Then he signed Fellaini on deadline day for £27m.
LvG on the other hand inherited a squad that just finished 7th and was severely lacking in confidence. He also had to deal with the loss of a huge chunk of experience in Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra and Giggs retiring/leaving. When LVG arrived he already had Herrera and Shaw in place and had set plans to get Rojo, Di Maria in motion. Moyes was guilty of panic buying in regard to Fellaini and Mata but LVG, in my opinion, has been given more backing on transfers and the loss of experience such as Ferdinand can hardly be considered a negative, as footballers Rio and Vidic were both shot and as an influence, Rio did more than anyone to disrupt the Moyes reign, again in my opinion -

We've done better against the bigger teams this season (bar Arse and Saints) though so i'm pretty confident with that fixture list. At a guess I think we could do something like:
H v Spurs: W
A v Liverpool: D
H v Villa: W
H v City: W
A v Chelsea: D/L
A v Everton: D/W
H v West Brom: W
A v Palace: D/W
H v Arse: W
A v Hull: W
That'd make 22/26 points out of a possible 30 which should be more than enough for a top 4 finish (though of course this fixture list isn't including a possible cup run which could affect things) -

I think new young blood needs to be pumped in to United, it is no good throwing all this money, it just doesn't work. -
