  Well last night really put into perspective how bad Man Utd are at the moment when you have to cash out when they're playing cambridge lol. In all seriousness why didn't they go full strength they had no mid week game and still would've had a full week before their next game. Plus the FA cup is their only realistic chance of silverware this season.

  you know why they didn,t go full strength,they were and always will be so complacent,just like the rest of the so called big boys,great result though for cambridge ,whatever the result now they are going to have one hell of a night up there and lots in the bank too,:):)
  And i thought they could only row boats:D

  As I said, small teams always raise their game for big teams, especially when it's at their own ground (City are currently losing to Boro for example and it's at the Etihad). Still no excuses though, the team we fielded was still more than good enough. We're too slow and create next to nothing for our strikers at the moment.

  what a crazy day in the FA cup .. and its not over yet. this is why i love the fa cup early rounds. most years they go as expected but every now and again they hold a whole host of surprises. in saying that itll probably still oneof the old regulars who win the thing

  Fergie's gone, it's bloody cold up north, and it probably dawned on him that LVG would go about utilising his pace by sticking him in goal.  It would have been a genius move too, even if everyone else was too uncultured to appreciate it...

  Paul Scholes: Man Utd are miserable and fail club ethos
  
  Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes says the club's style of play is "miserable" and is failing their attacking traditions.
  Manager Louis van Gaal has defended his tactics after West Ham counterpart Sam Allardyce called the Dutchman's side "long-ball United".
  Scholes wrote in the Independent:  "At the moment I'm struggling to watch Van Gaal's team with any great enjoyment.
  "At times, United's football is miserable," he added.
  "To beat opposing teams you have to attack, and to attack you have to take risks. Too few of the players in the current team are prepared to take those risks."
  United sit third in the Premier League after Wednesday's 3-1 victory over Burnley at Old Trafford - a display which Van Gaal "didn't like".
  Former players including ex-Arsenal and West Ham striker John Hartson and Phil Neville - a team-mate of Scholes at United - have also criticised United's recent displays. as "really poor", "predictable" and "lacking pace"oh dear Mutiny  :P

  If Man Utd finish in the top four, which I think they might do, my overall opinion will be how? They have been outplayed in almost every match I have seen them in, talk about winning ugly. Van Gaal is very lucky imo when you compare his treatment compared to Moyes, Moyes had money but was given no plans on where to strengthen, LVG had a sustained transfer strategy set out for him.

  Bollocks. Moyes inherited the Champions and all he needed to do was buy the WC midfielder that we had been lacking for about 4 years. Not only that but the club heavily advised him to sign Thiago from Barcelona as we had scouted him for years but Dave decided against because he lacked PL experience. He then tried to sign Fabregas for £20m. Then he signed Fellaini on deadline day for £27m.
  
  LvG on the other hand inherited a squad that just finished 7th and was severely lacking in confidence. He also had to deal with the loss of a huge chunk of experience in Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra and Giggs retiring/leaving. LvG had to strengthen in pretty much every area whereas Moyes only had to strengthen one.
