I reckon that LVG has more of a chance to build things. He has come in after Moyes era, having just got a team to the World Cup semis, and has a bit of standing due to coaching big teams around Europe. They have given him a massive amount of money to spend and the supporters seem to be ignoring the general understated start as "it's not Moyes". I think they have one more point at this stage this sason than they did last season, having spent £100m more. That is an expensive point!

oh yea brother you hit the nail right on the head but you know red mancs to blind to see it,all that money just to try to get to the blues heights,living on memories im afraid,

Eh? The reason why we're reasonably happy with our start is because the football played has been great and there are huge signs of improvement and signs that things will also get better. I can guarantee you had Moyes played the same football LvG has us playing he'd still be here. And rightfully so. But he didn't.

Oh and can we also stop pretending Moyes wasn't given any money to spend please? He spent just under £70m. It's his own fault that he spent it unwisely.

So rumours came out last night that Falcao got injured in Friday's training session. Honestly, I hope to fuck it's not true! But what with the awful luck we've had I wouldn't be surprised.

Current form RvP leading the line? Urgh.

Well, it's looking like Falcao really will miss the game. Urgh. My predicted line up:

I think LvG will go with Smalling over Jones for height reasons. Fellaini did well enough v West Brom in a more forward role to warrant a start imo and, like Smalling, his height is a bonus. With Rooney suspended and Falcao looking likely to be injured that leaves just RvP & Wilson as our dedicated strikers and as such I can't see LvG playing with no back up striker on the bench. RvP also seems undroppable under LvG so yeah.

YEEEEEEEEEES!!

Great game that! First half we were easily the better side, second half not so much. I couldn't see us scoring after Chelsea's goal, we just looked really flat after it but my word did we deserve atleast a point! Thank fuck we got that in the end. Smalling was our best player for me, Shaw, Fellaini, Mata, Januzaj & RvP were all great aswell. Really pleased that the latter 3 in particular raised their games today.

Fellaini is turning back into the Fellaini we all knew at Everton which is fantastic.

Eh?football was invented to win matches,not sit and admire how good you play and stiil lose,so much for all those millions spent,bring back moyes

Of course winning is important but when it comes to assessing whether you should stick by a manager or sack him there other elements that come into play. It's not a binary thing goons but I don't expect you to understand that.

as long as its not your money being spent,you,re happy,just as long as the player as reputation,fuck how much money is wasted
