Amazing that we didn't win that! We completely dominated for 80 minutes. Fellaini and Blind goals were fantastic, especially Fellaini's, never saw that one coming! -

It's crazy to think about all the abuse Moyes got last year. Van Gaal has spent £120 MILLION (give or a take) more than Moyes and has only managed to get 1 more point than than he had this time, last year- and that's with easier fixtures (already played newly promoted burnley and leicester) and an injury free van Persie. -

Well, for a start the football played under LvG is infinitely better than the football played under Moyes. Secondly we've had a fuck load of injuries this season. Before this week we consistantly had atleast 9 players out and even now we have 4 injuries and about 5 getting up to match fitness. Thirdly Moyes didn't get any abuse from the majority of United fans until about February after that Fulham game with 82 crosses, that was when the majority had enough.
Let's put it this way, had Moyes played the sort of football LvG has us playing he'd still have a job with us and rightfully so. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. -

The one thing that United have to give Van Gaal is time. He is going in there and changing the culture to the way he likes to do things and it has been proven to work in the past. The problem with having as successful a manager as Fergie was is that you get used to that being 'the way' of the club and it has hard to accept change. -

Whereas Moyes didn't seem to have a plan at all.
After every loss it was just 'we'll try and win the next one'.
Expectations have shifted now too compared to last season. Moyes was expected to challenge from the off, van Gaal's got time. Not loads granted, but some. -

Interesting news just breaking in that Victor Valdes is now training with us. We havn't signed him, we're just helping him recover but you would expect that if he recovers well that we'd sign him on a free aswell. LvG, Hoek and Valdes all have a good relationship from their Barca days apparantly.
Let's just hope he'd be replacing Lindegaard and not de Gea if he is to sign!
Oh and haha, unlucky Liverpool, it's more Mignolet for you!
