  Premier League vs Man City (H) - 1-0
  Amazing result and a fantastic performance. That was the best we've looked defensively since the Community Shield. Their disallowed goal made sense, it was clear to see that Fabinho's shirt was pulled by Haaland. Gomez and Milner put in great defensive performances. Elliott played really well and Salah was a constant threat.
  
  Alisson was good. Milner was great. Gomez was great. Virgil was solid. Robbo was solid. Fabinho was solid. Thiago was solid. Elliott was bright. Jota was bright. Firmino was solid. Salah was great.

  Premier League vs West Ham (H) - 1-0
  It wasn't the prettiest of perfomances, and we rode our luck a little bit at times, but we got eh three points in the end and another clean sheet, thanks to Alisson's magnificent penalty save. Nunez looked handful and could got on the score sheet at least once more.

  Premier League vs Forest (A) - 1-0
  Last season we were so close to winning the quadruple, and now I can't wait for this season to be over with already. We've already lost as many games this season as we did in the entirety of last season. Early kick off, away at an old ground to a recently promoted team and unsparingly we were awful. Losing Thiago and Nunez to injury was a blow, but we carved out enough chances to have won this game.

  Champions League vs Ajax (A) - 0-3
  After a nervy start we got the result we needed in order to get into the knockout stages of the Champions League. Henderson's assist for Salah's goal was just as beautiful as Mo's finish. After missing a sitter in the first half, it was good to see Nunez get on the scoresheet in the second half. Elliott's second champions league goal in two games will give him a massive confidence boost.

  After the loss against Arsenal in the Women's Super League it was good to see us bounce back with a victory against Leicester in the League Cup. Kearn's took her goal well from one of Campbell's trademark long throws. Missy Bo then got an assist for Roberts from a corner. Furness' top bin curler might just have edged out Stengel's long range strike as the goal of the night.

  Premier League vs Leeds (H) - 1-2
  Well, well, well. Our shambles of a season continues. Gomez dropped another clanger for Leeds' first goal. Mo got us back into it. We constantly gave them chances and didn't take any of ours. So I guess it was inevitable that they'd grab a late winner. Whenever we make subs this season we seem to lose all momentum. Also our ability to retain and regain possession has completely disappeared since the end of last season. We're obviously going to sign new players in January and the Summer, so I guess we'll just have to weather this storm until the World Cup next month.

  Champions League vs Napoli (H) - 2-0
  That was a massive confidence boost, and easily one of one best performances in terms of ball retention and regaining possession, so far this season. Getting some of our injured players back like Konate, Jones and Ramsey helped so much. Nunez continues to cause chaos and grab goals whenever he can.
  
  Alisson was solid. Trent was good. Konate was immense. Virgil was solid. Tsimikas was good. Fabinho was good. Thiago was calm. Jones was smart. Firmino was good. Salah was good. Nunez was crazy. Ramsey was calm. Bajcetic was calm. Carvalho was calm.

  Premier League vs Spurs (A) - 1-2
  We made it a little bit harder at the end than we needed to, but we got the three points in the end and that's all that matters. In the first half we played really well. We looked solid defensively and a constant threat in attack. Second half we fell off the pace and struggled to keep the ball. Salah took both his goals beautifully. Nunez was a menace. Konate was a colossus.

  League Cup vs Derby (H) - 0-0 AET (3-2 penalties)
  Kelleher is the second best goalkeeper in the world. It wasn't a easy game, Derby put up a good showing against us, even though Klopp kinda picked our third choice team to start the match. Clark looked bright in the first half, for one of our least experienced starters. Doak looked sharp when he came on in the second half, to make his debut.
  
  Kelleher was outstanding. Ramsey was great. Phillips was good. Gomez was good. Tsimikas was good. Bajcetic was good. Clark was good. Ox was OK. Carvalho was great. Stewart was OK. Frauendorff was good. Elliott was great. Firmino was OK. Nunez was OK. Doak was great.

  We were unlucky not to get at least a draw against Aston Villa. Koivisto, Stengel and Matthews all had decent chances to get on the scoresheet. Villa only had one great chance by Lehmann in open play, prior to their dubious penalty.
