  I'm a regular viewer of the Redmen TV youtube channel, so I was surprised to see Saskia Jade from Babestation appear on their show recently. I didn't know she was a Liverpool supporter, but I really liked hearing her opinions on the current state of our team. I was surprised she said she's like to isolate with Milner but her reasons for doing it because he'd be a good gym buddy, his dry sense of humour and "daddy" vibes made sense. My pick would be Konate because he'd watch anime TV shows all day. The player that she'd least like to isolate with being Nunez made sense too because he is a bit crazy. My pick would be might be Nunez too, but I like all of our squad, so I think I'd have a laugh with all of them if I was in isolation with them.

  Champions League vs Ajax (H) - 2-1
  After our last game it was nice to just win. We didn't play that badly tonight and could've grabbed a few more but the result is all that matters in the end.

  After winning promotion to the Women's Super League last season, the first game for us was against the current champions. After going a goal down in the first minute, they got stuck in and came back to win with two goals from the spot, that were clinically finished by Stengel. The only downside is the injury to Keirnan. Up next is the Merseyside Derby at Anfield, hopefully a full house will witness us pick up another three points.

  Sadly we were soundly defeated in front of a record crowd at Anfield in the Merseyside derby. Stengel, Holland, Daniels and Furness had decent chances to get us on the scoresheet but we lacked that bit of luck. Our next match versus Spurs won't be easy but we played well against them last season in the cup, so anything is possible.

  Premier League vs Brighton (H) - 3-3
  Our first game in a month was a mess from start to finish. The Community Shield match vs Man City has become a distant memory of how good we can be, ever since then we've been struggling to be the team we've been for the past five years. Going two down at home in this match was a horrible start. We need to stop conceding the first goal. Fighting back to regain the lead was brilliant, but to concede another at the end was a gut punch. Some way some how we need to regain our form ASAP.

  Great start to our Continental Cup campaign, by picking up 3 points due to Campbell's freekick. We were slightly unlucky not to get a few more goals - Furness, Lawley and Daniels all had good chances to extend our lead.

  Champions League vs Rangers (H) - 2-0
  The switch in formation to a front four made us look a lot better than we have recently. In possession we moved the ball quickly, and out of possession we pressed with energy. Nunez was unlucky not to get on the score sheet, he had a good few chances. Jota linked up play well and found gaps to run into. Thiago and Henderson just sat in midfield and provided a solid base for us to defend from. Hopefully this will be the point where we can just grind out a series of PL and CL wins before the World Cup starts.
  
  Alisson was solid. Trent took his goal beautifully. Matip was solid. Virgil was solid. Tsimikas made a great clearance. Thiago was great. Hendo was great. Diaz was a threat. Jota was tricky. Nunez was a nuisance. Salah was a threat.

  Premier League vs Arsenal (A) - 3-2
  We continue to be our own worst enemies this season. Some of the decisions from the ref were strange. Our inability to keep a clean sheet and consistently gone a goal down early in every game is still amjor concern, despite our change in formation. In the first half we played relatively OK, but we couldn't hold onto the ball or regain possession in the second half. 
  
  Alisson was good. Trent was fine. Matip was OK. Virgil was OK. Tsimikas was good. Thiago was OK. Henderson was fine. Jota was good. Nunez was good. Diaz was good. Salah was OK.

  Champions League vs Rangers (A) - 1-7
  I'm not going to get carried away but that was a much needed confidence boost. It was so annoying to concede the first goal yet again but we fought back really well. We just need to go back to basics defensively because our attack can score against any team on the planet.
  
  Allison was solid. Gomez got an assist. Konate was great. Virgil was good. Tsimikas was OK. Fabinho was good. Henderson was good. Carvalho was OK. Elliott took his goal well. Firmino was great. Nunez took his goal well. Jota goat a hat trick of assists. Salah got the quickest hat trick in Champions League history. Thiago was good. Roboo was OK. Milner was OK.
