  yeah gymaddict69 i saw descent about 2 years ago, didnt really like the 2nd one though, but if u like movies that make u jump out your seat then watch descent 1, and yeah jesslloydfan those drugs make u turn crazy looks good

  I've seen the first Conjuring and that was good and actually liked the look of the Conjuring 2 from the trailers but haven't got around to watching it. Good to know it's got some good moments in it. I did read some article, fuck knows where, that said they were developing a spin off for some particular spirit shown in that film (as Annabelle was from the first).

  I thought the Annabelle spin off was a bit shit compared to it's source material and yet they are making another one. Nothing like the studios stepping in to try and milk something but the entity in the 2nd one is legit scary instead of just a bit creepy so maybe the spin off will be good.

  i think i may of seen the first one it rings a bell, but nice one on conjuring 2 probably wouldnt of watched it if u didnt talk it up, ill check it out as soon as i finish watching this series power, alot like the wire and its on netflix if anyone wants to go watch it , its 5 stars

  Good call on the spirit from 'The Conjuring 2', FantasticMr. Im assuming we are talking about the same one (wont say more for fear of spoilers). If its the one im thinking of i woulld definatly be interested in seeing a spin off based on that particular spirit. That was one very effective creation. Anyone who hasnt seen or is unsure about watching Conjuring 2, recommend you get on that asap. Not ashamed to admit, despite watching early evening in a well lit room still made me really jump several times.

  @FantasticMR I thought the Annabelle film was ok, but i found it unbelievable that anyone would want that fuck ugly doll anyway. And most of the good scenes in it are in the first half of the film leaving a meh second half. That is possibly getting a sequel too (along with the separate spin off for this). I'll watch Conjuring 2 but i'm not sold on the idea of more spin off films.

  I wasnt overly thrilled by Annabelle, have watched it the once and to date, have never felt the need to revisit it..a possessed doll..meh. Saying that if the spin off of the second film features the spirit im hoping it will, done well that will be one creepy arsed film. May even part with the cash and see that at the cinema..the spirit in question is THAT effective.

  Took a chance on this the other day and am kinda glad i did. The film in question is simply titled 'The Neighbour'. Has anyone else seen this horror? What did you think? Directed and written by Marcus Dunstan (the brains behind the rather excelllent 'The Collector' and 'The Collection'), this turned out to be unexpectadly good. Without spoiling the film basically tells of a couple (who are hardly innocent themselves), witness their neighbour up to no good. To say much more would spoil the film. A solid horror thriller with ample gore, solid performances ll round..granted the very end is a bit pants and theres an assortment of predictable and questionable descions but on the whole you could doo a hell of a lot worse.

  On a particually slow week on the new release/ download front, happened to clock a film last night simply titled '31'. Only on further investigation did i find that not only is it a new horror directed by Rob Zombie but, according to online reviews, it was meant to be pretty damn good..and there's the funny thing about reviews. While i enjoyed Rob's take on the Halloween films (sorely underated) i wasnt a huge fan of 'House of 1000 corpses' or 'The Devils Rejects'. This latest offering has got more in common with the later films (groupp from a travelling carnival abducted by and pursued, to the death, by a series of clowns..obviously not th funny haha type though). To be honest, despite the gore, the film just did'nt resonate with me. Infact i was so bored i just fell asleep little over half way through. Suffice to say i wont nbe returning to it. The film may appeal to some though although i would recommend checking out the trailer first rather than diving in blind.
