  I actually vaguely recall seeing a trailer for that psycho babysitter film at somepoint, think I may even have put a trailer on here but I'm not entirely sure.
  Looked kinda interesting, didn't look like the best horror film but one I'll watch if it ever appears on tv or something (I don't tend to download films myself).

  Downloading may be airing on the dodge side of things but i do begrudge paying £10 - £15 for something that turns out to be bollocks lol. Saying that, if i do really enjoy a film i will always make a point of buying it. I was a good film but while elements could be classified as horror, it falls equally into psychological drama territory. The bite size run time of the film meant that the plot wasnt overly convoluted and the film moved at a reasonable pace. You could certainly do a lot worse but dont expect a tremendous amount of blood or gore..its very sparce in this.

  Another long overdue horror review is for the relativly new anthology horror film called 'Holidays'. An interesting premise, basing each short shory on an annual holiday (christmas, mothers day, easter etc..). As borrowed from the likes of 'The abc's of death' each story is directed by a different person. The film (or films as the case may be) attempt to try something a little different and to affect but, unfortunatly, each and every one fell short of the mark. A couple are kinda watchable (Easter is just mental) but the rest are so underwhelming. A real shame but for me, file this under turkey.

  I do recall seeing the trailer for 'Holidays'. sounded interesting but i always have my doubts about anthology films, they don't have the greatest track record of quality with recent ones.
  Watched what i suppose is technically a horror film (in some ways) just tonight 'Spring', can't really say much without giving away spoilers and it's not the most obvious  horror (horror elements). But actually pretty good.

  Believe me, jesslloydfan, you are missing nothing by not giving 'Holidays' the time of day. Mediocre at best with almost every story either having a massivly disapointing conclusion or seemingly, no conclusion at all. A thourgh disapointment. You atleast expect the most interesting ideas to be reserved for the halloween and christmas stories. The christmas one was probably one of the worst (just some shit starring Seth Green about a guy who uses some vr type glasses. Gotta say i have never heard of the film 'Spring'. Will do a lttle research, get a feel for what its about.

  I'd actually recommend you don't look too much into what that film is about, watch the trailer and if you have any desire to see it then watch it. But a lot of the different elements of the film are purposefully kept as a surprise so if you look it up you could end up giving away. Not saying it's the best but for an offbeat sort of horror it's interesting (probably not one you'd watch twice).

  Its probably a good thing that i have not gotten around to looking into 'Spring' yet then, Jesslloydfan. I will check out its online availability a bit later. Have just downloaded appears to be a martail arts / horror hybrid that has been plugged on tv called 'Yakuza Apocalypse'. All i know is that its meant to be rather good, features vampires in someway shape or form, ample gore and of all things, ninjas in frog coostumes (yeah, i know). Will check it out when i can and review after.

  This is heading back to november of last year when Jesslloydfan was kind enough to post the trailer link, last weekend i attempted (thats the key word) to watch 'The other side of the door' starring the actress who played Lori in The Walking Dead. Reading the reviews before hand i was reluctant to give this the time of day as mostly the reviews were not kind. In this instance i have to agree with the masses. It took an hour into this 90 minute film before anything of any real substance happened . Below par tension with more than a nod to the far superior 'Pet semetary'. An hour of this was all i could take, switched it off just as it started picking up..by then the damage was done.

  To be honest that film didn't exactly look great, I was waiting for TV but I might give it a miss entirely. Maybe it's the Lori effect but she kinda put me off the film (probably unfair, but Lori was just so incredibly annoying).
  I've actually got a fair few new trailers to add to this I've just not got around to actually add them, will try and get them posted later.

  Anticypating the new trailers, Jesslloydfan. Things do seem to have dried up a little on the horror front of late (with the possible exception of The Conjuring 2 that, while i will watch it, im hardly doing backflips over its release lol). The premise of 'The Other Side Of The Door' sounds interesting enough but despite being blatantly obvious which direction its heading it takes way to long to reveal its hand and by that point really couldnt give a shit.
