  Was reminded of a film that was a chore to watch, honestly don't know why. Called 'A Girl Walks Home Alone At night', pointless and slightly pretentious art house crap. It's in black and white, for some reason. Has long lingering scenes of nothing and although it's technically a horror the only thing that's horrifying is the life draining effect it has on your life... Literally the most interesting thing is a cat that appears in some scenes and distracts from the nothing around it.

  a movie i have watched like 20 times but always makes me fall asleep, but its not a boring movie just long and thats inception really good movie about dreams but does drag at times and makes me fall asleep but still looking to finish that one

  Hve gotta admit Dony, Inception can take a bit of getting your head around. Assuming you attempted to watch this late at night, may be more advisable to watch it earlier in the day if it keeps making you nod off. Have gotta say i did stay awake through it and thouroghly enjoyed it. A girl walks home alone at night..forgive me if im wrong, jesslloydfan, but isnt the film something to do with vampires or a vampire like creature? Can recall hearing positive reviews on the grapevine, then again 'The eyes of my mother' was black and white, art house, boring, pretentious crap as well nd as we seem to have simaler tastes think i will just avoid the other film altogether.

  yeah gymaddict late night is really the only time i can really watch movies, but next time i can watch in the day i will, what i saw so far looked pretty god though but u really got to pay attention, and fmr that is a funny question lol that i cant even answer who knows ?

  Wow, just when you thought remakes couldnt get any worse, its my belief, that earlier today i witnessed part of possibly the worst remake of them all. The film in was' Death Race 2050'. Yes, i know following the ***** classic original there were, if memorys serves, the prequels and spin offs (starring Jason Statham and one of the Bros brothers if memory serves). While they were diverting and entertaining, they deserve an oscar compared to this new reimagining. The fact that, at the time of downloading, not a single imdb review, by neither critic nor average viewer, should have made me question it but, i thought 'Hey, why not'. The film is te most god awful piece of crap i can recall seeing in recent memory and should by erased from existence before spitting on the original more than it already has. Starring Malcolm Mcdowell and the guy who played Slade wilson in arrow, this film is so bad, it almost begs to have the first 20 minutes or so watched just so the definition of an ill advised remake or film in general can be witnessed. Killed the film after 20 minutes..couldnt stomach any more. If you feel like giving it a looksee, have some optrex at the ready as you'll want to rinse your eyes out afterwards..its that bad.

  Really wasnt expecting to put this film under th 'films you couldnt make it to the end of' but sadly, its exactly where it belongs. The film in question is the multi award nominated Denzel Washington film 'Fences'. Tried watching the film the other day with the family, fully aware that while its performances were praised, many were remarking on of the chore that are the length of the scenes..and those people were right to be critical of them. What ii was hoping was going to be an effective, acting masterclass with powerhouse performances, turned into a couple of really long, chatty, boring, sometimes a chore to follow, scenes where basically fuck all happens. 30 minutes into the film i had to turn it off..we were collectivly bored to tears but also exhausted from trying to keep up with the speed of the dialogue. Cant think of a reason to recommend this film.

  Wow, tonight has been a truly appauling one viewing wise. After attemping to watch the appauling 'A series of unfortunate events' thought "Wy not whack a film on?" Decided to give the horror comedy 'Boo! A Madea halloween' a looksee. Downloaded purely based on the fact that it had received many positive reviews although one reoccuring theme that did keep arising was that this was marmite humour. Sadly, 30 or so minutes in, much like the spread itself, it left a bad taste in my mouth. Just found the hole thing to that point really unfunny and to be frank, couldnt face the prospect of enduring another hour of it so killed the film.

  I know we all have different tastes, but flippin eck, there aint half a lot of shit up for the big movie awards this time round. The most recent traversty (and coincidently, another that i couldnt make it to the end of) was the Amy Adams sci fi offering 'Arrival'. I am so happy that ii didnt pay to watch this. Ok, there are worse films out there but inside of the first hour absolutely fuck all had happened. Copule that with the films plodding pace, tired performances and a deeply uninteresting story..couldnt stand any more, had to turn it off. Granted, visually it is kinda pretty to look at..but thats were the praise begins and ends.

  Another awards nominee, another waste of time. The film in question is 'Moonlight'. Thought we'd give it a looksee, wish we hadn't bothered. The film tells of the life of a young man, growing up in a rough area of miami and the struggles that come with that. On the face of it this seemed a shoe in for a powerful, well acted, interesting masterclass. What appeared on screen instead was a dull, plodding, uninteresting chore of a watch. Made it to the 45 minute mark before giving up. It may have improved later on but wasnt willing to watch anymore..bloody film was putting me to sleep.
