  a movie i cant make it to the end of is batman vs super man but mainly because its so long and i watch movies normally right before i go to bed, but what i seen so far isnt as bad as everyone was saying it is lol

  Star Trek Beyond, just didn't hold my attention which is weird because I really like the other two.

  I have watched BvS a couple of times Dony but have gotta admit, that first half of the film, with exception of the opening sequence, was a long winded chore. That said after that it does improve greatly (in my opinion). I didnt dislike 'Beyond', FantasticMR but, that said i didnt massivly rate it either. Some critics are saying this was that greatest trek instalment since 'Wrath of Khan'. I know right, these critics need to lay off whatever they are smoking as they clearly have no idea what they are talking about. For me the comedy fell flat, the script was nausciating at times, while the space based action was impressive the planet based action left me wanting and, yet again in a 2016 film, the villian of the piece was frankly a bit crap.

  This has not been a great week film wise..have atched several and have only made it all the way to the end of one..the others were killed part way through. The most recent offender was a supposedly edgy romantic comedy called 'It had to be you'. Starring a bunch of people i have never heard of the story itself is of a neurotic female jingle writer who is suprised with a proposal from her boyfriend. Thought would give the film a go based purely on many positive reviews online..what actually followed was an unfunny, boring, sturgid turd of a film. Killed the film shortly after 30 minutes in..couldnt stomach any more.

  i tried to watch the BFG the other day but the animation looks so weird that i only lasted about 20 mins its a great book but the eighties animated version is way better everyone chatting about BVS it might be longer but the extended version is much better as thing seem to flow much better

  I did watch the BFG previously, steve40. Whilst i watched it to the end it certainly wasnt without its flaws meaning whilst i didnt hate the film, its unlikely i will watch it again. Truth be told it was only the fizz popper sequence at the tail end of the film that made me laugh. Apart from that it was all a kinda humourless affair. The most recent film i couldnt make it to the end of was a netflix movie, made for netflix called 'Spectral'. With a reputable enough cast and a concept that seemed sound enough (spec ops teams fight supernatural beings), what could have possibly gone wrong. While the film tried, somehow it managed to have an ample amount of action but still be sull and plodding at the same time. After falling asleep a couple of times through boredom i shut the film off just after the hour mark. Just plodding, uninspired, middle of the road at best.

  After yet another abysmal week (so far) on the new film quality front, the most recent film i couldnt make it anywhere near the end of was the family drama 'Swallows and Amazons'. From what i can gather its a retelling / remake of the original films or series from way back when. Downloaded purely based on the largely positive reviews and while the film may appeal to some, i was bored shitless. Unlikeable cast, not a great deal happens..just really drol. Gave the film till around the 45 minute mark before killing it..couldnt stomach anymore.

  The only movie I ever walked out of was 'Now You See Me'. It was a cineworld secret screening night and I had no idea that this was the movie that was going to be shown. About an hour in, I had enough and walked out. It was so smug, thought it was really clever and so up it's own arse that it drove me insane. The horrible, amateurish writing was just one of its problems. I'm not a big fan of Jesse Eisenberg and this film did nothing to change my mind.
  Just pure dross!

  Given the lack of original, quality programming thats been on over the christmas period so far, have found myself playing catch up with several films i had stored on the computer for a rainy day. While some were suprisingly good, one which i couldnt make it to the end of, despite the praise surrunding it was the indie horror 'The eyes of my mother'. The fact that it is in black and white didnt put me off, nor did the constant switching between english and, im guessing, spanish. Despite the hype, weirdness and occassional sugestive horror scene (more is implied than actually shown), i was just really bored. An interesting enough premise and the movie may have improved much later on but, being only a 75 minute film and 45 minutes in, very little had happend (in my opinion) i simply couldnt endure anymore.

  oh gymaddict i dont know how u can do it, i could never watch a movie a in black and white lol, and im not surprised u couldnt endure the name of it sounds like its rubbish
