  RESULTS
  
  Steaua Bucharest 0-4 Chelsea
  Arsenal 2-0 Napoli
  Celtic 0-1 Barcelona
  Basel 0-1 FC Schalke 04
  Borussia Dortmund 3-0 Marseille
  Zenit St Petersburg 0-0 FK Austria Wien
  FC Porto 1-2 Atlético de Madrid
  Ajax 1-1 Milan
  
  A good night for Arsenal and Chelsea then, and Celtic didn't disgrace themselves either. The main talking point at Celtic Park was Scott Brown's sending off for a kick on Neymar. The Brazilian did make a meal of it and it gave Barca the impetus, with Fabregas grabbing the only goal on 75 minutes.
  
  No more than what was expected from Chelsea but still an important result after the disappointment agains Basel. Schurrle looked lively and Ramires did well to chip in with a couple of goals.
  
  Aresnal though, outstanding. Ozil was on fire, again, as was Ramsey and they made Napoli look ordinary. How long can this impressive run continue?

  Well that was a good night apart from Celtic, and I suppose you can class it as a good night by only allowing the 1 goal...
  
  I was expecting a bit of a goal fest with Arsenal and Napoli, but Napoli let me down with my Arsenal to win and BTTS double... but Chelsea saw me ok with the win and Barcelona covered the corners handicap, so a slight profit on the night...
  
  That's the Londoners sorted, will the Mancunians be as good tonight?

  I'm going with draws for both, and I think they'd both take that. It wouldn't be the greatest result for Moyes given his current predicament but with the Leverkusen win under their belts a point in Donetsk will do.
  
  Can see a few goals flying in at the Etihad.

  Draws could well be on the cards for both, I agree, especially for Utd, and again a Both Teams To Score for both matches looks worthy of a bet.
  A Bayerm win and BTTS double is my pick for tonight and I may put a saver bet on the draw... I gotta be right sometime by the law of averages ain't I....

  The Manchester sides are too unpredictable at the minute. I agree with you that draws looks the odds on result on paper but this season they could wither get thrashed or both win outstandingly. This season has been bonkers so far.

  Shakhtar Donetsk v MAN UTD
  You'd imagine David Moyes would take a point from this if you offered it to him now. And with 3 points already on the board from Utd's win over Leverkusen, it wouldn't be a disastrous result. The press could even talk about them getting back on track again, though only until the next defeat of course...
  
  Robin van Persie should start after shaking off a groin injury. Marouane Fellaini, Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra are unlikely to feature though and Anderson, Fabio and Wilfried Zaha haven't even travelled.
  
  MAN CITY v Bayern Munich
  The glamour tie of the evening. City would probably take a point as well, but at the same time they'll also view it as an opportunity to lay down a marker and show that they are serious contenders. It won't be easy though, the CHAMPIONS OF EVERYTHING are flying under Pep Guardiola, he's enjoying the sort of smooth transition David Moyes can only dream of.
  
  David Silva is available again for the home side. Sergio Aguero too, which is handy.

  Juventus v Galatasaray
  Real Madrid v FC Copenhagen
  Paris Saint Germain v Benfica

  Overall, it doesn't look quite as appetising as last night but the Mancs are in for a couple of intriguing games.
