  i say barboza was better, uriah's was pure power and very awesome, but barboza's was just that much more stylish, right on the chin and it just looked better because his leg was straight, looked like something right out of a movie.

  This should be a great UFC tonight. What are people predictions. I'm going to be very predictable and go for GSP as I can't see how Diaz can win. In the other two big fights Im going for Ellenberger and Hendricks.

  i'm going for GSP, same thing i cannot see nick diaz winning. he doesn't have the power imo, gsp will take him down at will and no way diaz will submit him.
  
  ellenberger / nate, i'm not sure, i haven't watched them fight in a while. go with ellenberger anyway, just on the chance that UFC tested for PEDs this time lol
  
  with hendricks/condit i'm going with Condit on this one. i say henricks doesn't land the big shot or does but condit eats it and condit uses his size/reach to win the fight via i don't know what lol.

  well i ALMOST got it right lol. condit DID take henricks' power and overall he did do more damage in the fight. i think he would have won a 5 rounder. hendricks got the decision because of takedowns, but his takedowns did no damage. either way, can't wait to see them both again.
  
  GSP though is slowing down. you can see it. the media always reacts to fighters not being in their prime too late. they only say it AFTER they start losing, but it's obvious already. GSP is on the downswing now just like rashad was a couple of year ago when he was 31 like GSP is now. he doesn't look anywhere near as good in the later rounds. see how many more wins he can get tho.

  I'd have to agree about GSP, he definitely has'nt looked as impressive as usual in his last two fights (although he still won them both comfortably so what does that say?).
  
  Condit is a seriously tough dude as he Hendricks caught him a few times but it did'n seem to bother him
  
  Ellenberger looked very impressive too and it has to be either him of Hendricks who get the next shot at GSP.

  well they said in the press conference after the fight that it would not be ellenberger but definitely johnny who now gets the next shot at george. i gotta say i'm interested to see what happens because both condit and diaz gave gsp a bit of a hard time in striking at times, esp condit and big rig hits harder...
  
  also, i'm extremely curious to see who has the better wrestling. big rig's wrestling looked absolutely effortless against carlos

  It should be a very interesting fight with Hendricks. He has way more power than GSP in his strikes and GSP is'nt known for his punch resistance (hes jut so hard to hit that his chin is never really tested)
  
  GSP's wrestling is unreal so someone who never wrestled in school. He has out wrestled top level wrestlers like Fitch and Koscheck so I think he'll be able to cope with Hendricks wrestling. The question is whether he can avoid getting hit for 5 rounds.

  cope, yes, but will he dominate (cuz he doesn't really have any other way of dominating the fight)?
  
  actually, i say the 5 rounds works in his favour this time. i say johnny will gas faster than gsp.

  I just watched the post fight press conference. Nick Diaz is all over the place. He apparently accussed GSP of taking steriods to a reporter after the fight. He had a problem with the wraps GSP used, he said he was retiring but wanted a re-match with GSP, he also said he though he'd be a better match up for Anderson Silva and the funniest comment of the night was when he said he had never paid taxes and would probably end up in jail. Just crazy stuff.

  haha yea i saw it too, that was some funny shit, i kinda feel sorry for that guy man. he's like, i might as well be a kid, you don't know what it's like for someone who didn't graduate high school to be fighting 3x a year for so many years. i think i see his point, the man has very few brain cells left. dude really isn't a bad guy, i hope he gets his taxes sorted out tho lol!!
