  so i guess the fight is pretty much tomorrow night american time. i'm curious - do any of you guys on here actually purchase the PPV or do you do it like me and download the thing the day after? it's pretty good way of doing it for me, just have to avoid any news of the fight until i've d/l it lol.
  
  has anyone been to a UFC event? i think i've heard they're doing one at wembley arena soon

  The Prelims start at 1am Sunday morning and the main event starts at 3am. ESPN shows all the UFC events for free and it comes as part of the Sky Sports package.

  pretty cool how you can watch the prelims on facebook, they just started a minute ago.
  
  don't have espn unfortunately though. does ESPN show even PPVs though??? cuz this one is on FX, not a pay per view event

  that was one weird fight. well done to cain velasquez, who even outstruck junior, but what the hell happened to JDS, the guy didn't look himself at all.
  
  he looked like he had already gone 3 rounds at the START of the fight ffs. i swear he looked the same as he did in the third round of the roy nelson fight. slow, sluggish, barely moving. there is no reason at all for him to look so slow from literally the first second of the fight.
  
  he looked really really worried as well coming out. from the second they showed his face. i swear it looked like he was either really scared, or something else happened. but he looked like a different person.

  That was a pretty dominant victory by Velasquez. Was very surprised to see him win the stand up. It did show that he does'nt have great knock out power as he caught JDS flush a few times and did'nt seem to trouble him. If JDS had hit Velasquez with the same shots he'd have definitely knocked him out. I think there will definitely be a third fight but I'd like to see them both have a couple of fights first and if they are still one and two in a year or so they could fight again.

  i swear if i didn't know any better, and i don't, i'd say something fishy went on with this fight. HOW could jds look so sluggish right from the get go.

  I've read some online reports about the fight today and one of the things that was mentioned a few times is JDS lifted a lot more weights in training and was heavier than normal as he was expecting to win and fight Overeem next and figured he'd need to bulk up. I have no idea if this is true or not but e definitely looked sluggish. The other thing is he could have had an injury we don't know about or maybe everyone under estimated Veasquez stand up.

  Anyone going to watch the Bisping v Belfort fight this weekend? hould be close, the bookies basically have them the same price. I'll be cheering for Belfort as Bisping just annoys me (I might have mentioned that before:) )

  is that vitor belfort vs bisping happening at wembley arena that you're asking if anyone is going? anyway, i will be cheering for vitor belfort as well because i like him as a fighter more than bisping. besides, bisping has nothing going forward. there is absolutely no way he will take silva if he gets the title shot he was promised.
  
  not only that, but bisping even KNOWS this, he just wants a payday.
  
  and somehow belfort is not given a title shot if he wins lol

  The fight is in Brazil as far as I know. I meant was anyone going to watch it, but I probably phrased it badly.
  
  Its not the best card, the big one is a few weeks time with some really interesting fights.
