The knockout was a bit like the Pacquiaov Hatton Knockout the way he did'nt see the puch coming and was knocked clean out and took a while to get back up. Paquiao was starting to dominate thefight and looked ike it was only a matter of ime until he stopped Marquez.

these are good fights, especially looking forward to seeing what happens with rory against carlos. I say rory takes it this time. the guy is a beast.
i wonder why GSP wants diaz now (by the way it's Nick, not nate lol). maybe he wants another fight to prepare for big rig lol (kinda looking past diaz there, but i don't think he'll take GSP - no wrestling and not enough power)

That was a great fight, but dont forget even when it looks like fighters are dominating Marquez, its just part of his playing style because hes a counter puncher. Finaly i think it was justice for Marquez because the last fight should have been a draw with Pacquiao.
Dont really like the attitude of Pacquiao, with the religion route. I think hes not focusing much on the fights anymore and doesnt want to win as bad as he wants to win the elections for his country. Boxer turn politician? Not for me.
Did anyone watch the Khan fight this morning? I still dont think it proved anything about Khan, was more a confidence boost to me. Still congratulations to him because he did show signs of improvement, even though he did start doing the whole dropping his chin again. Nevertheless congrats!

I really never understood all that nonsense about the blood test, surely you would do one small thing for your career... But then again I don't really know what Olympic style drug testing is and why Roach was so scared of it.(16/12/2012, 14:35)Timm24 Wrote:(16/12/2012, 04:34)ken12 Wrote: Looks like the UFC have decided to sort out the Welterweight pecking order in one night. Ya, its definitely Nick (sorry it was late when I posted, although he could probably take them both together lol). I think its a great card and am looking forward to all3 fights. I'd go for GSP, Rory and I'm not sure about the third fight yet.

I agree about Pacquiao, he definitely is'nt as focused as he was. I think Freddie Roachs illness is really affecteding him as well as he did'nt give Manny any instructions between the rounds whereas if you look at fight from few years ago he was a lot more vocal in the corner between rounds. This has to affect his ability to train Manny as well. Its a pity Pacquiao lost as he had ageed to Mayweathers demands about the drug testing and splitting thepurse (55-45 for Mayweather) a few days before the fight. I think the only fight Pacquiao really wants is Mayweathr but even if it hapends now its a few years to late for both of them.
