  it's one of those fights (the Hendricks vs Kampman fight) that just goes to show to what extent being a power puncher has to do with having that gift for it. Hendricks does not look big in his weight class at all, but has this insane power. when it comes to that, you either have it or you don't. AND he's a wrestler too...

  Hatton has announced his retirement again after last night. I thought it was a mistake to comeback for a number of reasons and did'nt like seeing him lose like he did as I was always a fan. You'd have to wonder why he did it. Did he really think he could get back to anywhere near where he was.

  he came back probably because of a combination of wanting money/attention/alleviating the boredom that comes with retirement. anyway, his choice. he probably shouldn't have done it , but there you go.
  
  hey i saw an advert on tv just now and i still don 't know if i saw it right or not - is Flintoff the cricketer becoming a boxer lol????

  I watched the programme on sky about freddie flintoff, its called from lords to the ring (something like that) hes got power in his punches, but he is a big guy and he failed his test to get a british license, so he has to retry in a couple weeks

  I saw the first episode of the Flintoff programme last week (its on sky). Barry Mcuigan and his son Shane have been training him for the last 6 months. He looks a bit awkward whch is fair enough as he has'nt boxed before but he seems to have good power as he rocked one of his sparing partners. He's a big lad too as he was 118kg when he stated training but they had hm down to about 108kg last week. He's supposed to be having an actual professional fight but he needs to get his license first.

  Ya, I though the fight was going to be before christmas (I think its going to be at the MEN arena) as well but they might say in th second episode which is on tomorrow.

  Anyone watch Pacquiao v Marquez. It was a great fight. The knockout was a bit like the Pacquiaov Hatton Knockout the way he did'nt see the puch coming and was knocked clean out and took a while to get back up. Paquiao was starting to dominate thefight and looked ike it was only a matter of ime until he stopped Marquez.
