  So there is always a constant argument about who is the best player or players in the world, my personal opinion is i think messi but there again ronaldo has played in both leagues and is a proven goalscorer with a track record like no other.
  
  what do you guys think

  neither off them are that good are they,they havnt got a world cup winners medal have they and will never have,the players around them make them look good,they are just overpaid conceited spoilt so called superstars,

  not really none of them have a world cup winnners medal but look at there goals to games they are clearly the best football players in the world just by there stats

  yeah completley agree with that the spanish league is shite but ronaldo as much as i hate to say this being a massive gunner smashed the premier league when he was there so is proven in both leagues but i agree with would messi perform in a wet wednesday night at stoke.

  I hate this argument that you have to win international tournaments to be labelled the best player in the world. It just makes no sense. Look at Bale for instance, Wales will likely never even qualify for the WC or Euro's during his playing career so you're saying that no matter what he does he could never be called one of the greats. To win an international tournament you have to be in a damn good team, it has fuck all to do with how good you are as an individual and thus is a ridiculous way to measure how good a player is.

  i completely agree with potato on the international argument. As well neymar is so sick but has not won anything at international level. it all comes down to goal to game record and what leagues they are proved in
