I've got to disagree here. Messi is the best player on the world. Fair enough he doesn't quite look the same at the moment, but I don't think he's been FULLY fit for a while. And how can he be questioned still on the international stage? Argentina are a team of a few very good players along with 8 other average players who would struggle in the PL. Messi showed that even without that same quality around him and even when not performing at his best he can change the game with one bit of magic, which is what pretty much happened until the final. Ronaldo NEEDS the players around him which is evident, yes he's a goal scorer but that's pretty much it. Messi is a far more complete player and is an absolute joy to watch at his best and still the best player I've witnessed with my own eyes! -

Yeah defo but i think its out of those two players that are world class there are players like neymar, robben, ibra and ribery that are class but not up to the standards of the messi's and ronaldo's -

I hate this argument that you have to win international tournaments to be labelled the best player in the world. It just makes no sense. Look at Bale for instance, Wales will likely never even qualify for the WC or Euro's during his playing career so you're saying that no matter what he does he could never be called one of the greats. To win an international tournament you have to be in a damn good team, it has fuck all to do with how good you are as an individual and thus is a ridiculous way to measure how good a player is.

Where and who they play for makes no difference as I have said. So yes, if they played for West Ham I would continue to rate them highly.
