Goons, you've got the third or fourth highest wage bill in the league. Ozil and Sanchez will easily be clearing £200k a week if/when they extend and Theo Walcott's on £150k a week now. Theo Walcott!
I get that you're not gonna offer the likes of Pogba £300k a week, and that's fair enough, but personal terms were agreed with Mustafi last week apparently and the deal still hasn't happened. I'm sure he's delighted with the prospect of £100k or whatever a week, living in London, playing Champions League and competing in the upper reaches of the Prem. The only reason you're still waiting is because Wenger and/or the board can't get their heads round the fact that transfer fees have increased from where they were 5 years ago.
And lastly, the 'if being a top club means buying all the top players and leaving the fans out of pocket' bit - You've got the most expensive tickets in world football mate! Outrageous comment!

My thoughts are seriously as ive always thought doesnt matter who plays for us or where we finish win lose or draw i support the club through thick and thin rough or smooth,dont say you must want new faces,i dont care i support Arsenal. -

Leicester 0-0 Arsenal! That's much better defensively! I thought we played the better football too! We created more chances but just weren't precise enough at finishing. Maybe buying another striker would be wise? I think over the years, we've had many dodgy first games of the season. Then we find our form. But that's no excuse for Wenger to keep the Arsenal wallet in his pocket! Lets spend!
I love clean sheets too, wet patches I leave to Liverpool :) -

It was a much better performance until the team reached the team the final third, it's clear as day that Arsenal need a top striker based on that performance or change the system used. The question is whether there is a top striker available for them to buy, the Mustafi deal might not happen now too unless Wenger stomps up the minimum release clause fee, surely an extra £10 million isn't much if he was the right player originally -

I'm somewhat concerned about the lack of new players coming in though! Mustafi doesn't look like a done deal. That said, I thought we looked much better defensively against Leicester. I would still like to see world class number 9 coming in though. I think if we had a striker like Aguero or Zlatan, we'd have a much better chance of success this season!
I can't say much, I don't seem to be "scoring" much at the moment! That's why I like Rampant :)
I dont mean that but it sounds gooood at your end ;)
