Hardcore gamers are about montages, and live stream which Xbox one offers in a more varied way compared to the PS4 which just uploads your videos onto the cloud for others to view only on PS4. Two of the MAIN RPG's that were only for sony are now coming to Xbox One. FF15 Originally for the PS3 is jumping onto next gen consoles. Kingdom Hearts 3 also a sony exclusive is jumping onto the Xbox one. What does that say about next gen? Xbox are now negotiating with companies such as square to scrap exclusives. Yes you will still have first party games for the console, but third party developers are starting to publish games on multiplatforms so no one can really say PS4 won from their E3 conference.
PS4 have around 5 exclusives announced and you're trying to say they won? Killzone looks decent but it's not really an innovated FPS. Infamous is probably the best one, drive club looks good but again it will be fun but not ground breaking. The order is another one, but not much was shown so no one can really comment on it. And as for Knack I don't think I really need to comment on that. I'm not sure if I'm missing anything else but those are the 'beloved' exclusives coming on the PS4.
As for Xbox One we have Dead Rising 3, New Halo, Quantum Break, Ryse, KILLER INSTINCT, D4, Forza 5 and some other mediocre games.
From the exclusive line up revealed the Xbox looks much more solid in terms of quality. But sony fanboys will argue that.
In terms of DRM it's not really much of a BIG issue as people make it out to be, the 24 hour check is absolutely nothing, I'm pretty sure majority of the gamers are connected onto the internet, and have a decent internet speed. So what's the problem? You want to game offline? How will it affect you if you game online or not? I really don't see the big issue with this as YOU will always be connected to the internet when you're playing your game. I mean even PS4 and Xbox 360 users are pretty much nearly 99% of the time connected online.
As for trading games, you will be able to trade your game in, the activation code will then be wiped off your system. So it's not they completely erased the trading in system. But realistically when you buy a game you have the intention to play it because you want to. So then why the big fuss moaning you can't trade it in blah blah? You don't see steam users moaning because they can't trade in their digitally downloaded games. The value of your traded in games decreases majorly from a new game to a used game, so it's not like you will get a decent price back probably 10-15 pounds 20 if you're lucky. But when you buy a game you usually buy it because you want it and intend to play it for a long time. But as I said referenced earlier there will still be a trade in system so it's not ruled out entirely.
Yes the price is 100 pounds more, but in the long run 100 pounds will become irrelevant, it's a one off fee, and from the line up shown so far Xbox one looks stronger out of the two.
So I hope PS4 fanboys have learn a thing or two today from this brief essay I have typed up. I'm neutral on the whole console wars, but the way PS4 fanboys are gassing up the PS4 like it's a groundbreaking innovation with a shit load of epic games coming out need to hush their decayed gums. It's early stages and there is no way of saying that the PS4 is better than the Xbox One when they both have their pro's and cons. It's a matter of preference at the end of the day. But slating one console because of silly little things is just petty.
