  I’ve never really considered farting to be a real issue when it comes to sporting events or any competition for that matter, but apparently, I stand corrected. It’s come to light that the World Pie Eating Championships have had to ban red meat and potatoes as a filling because they’re worried about the horrendous guff that could be emitted when people eat them and how it might affect audience participation.   The audience are certainly happy about it, but some of the participants are a bit pissed off as they’ve been training all year with red meat pies and now they’ll have to switch up their regime at the last minute. It’s not gone down well. Here’s what 1992 winner Dave Smyth had to say about the change:

  Wow. The dudes acting like it’s a serious skill to stuff your fat gob with pies. I wonder what sort of person would actually be a spectator at one of these events?! I kind of want to go - just for my own morbid curiosity of course.

  Erm you did an article not too long ago about someone farting loads in a darts match to put the competition off.
