Well to be fair the original modern warfare was an original and exciting game with perfect controls that came out in a time before annual cod releases, everything since has been too frequent, short and easy. It's become the non gamers game of choice. Every start a conversation about games with someone, and they say, yeah I play the big games, cod and FIFA! Tgen you stop talking?

if someone comes up to me and describes themselves as being a gamer and then says "i have every copy of CoD and MW" then they get a slap in the face and told to fuck off from me.

Pretty much this is standard response to any calls for me to play Cod or MW. They are massively over priced for the Turkey's they actually are.

Do not mistake me for an FPS hater, I like the occasional FPS but i'm not a fan of drab crap with nothing new to offer that they always slap a £40 tag on which is undeserved, and they don't go down in price either.

Even Halo had something new to offer. Space Marine is an excellent game and Unreal Tournament seems to evolve massively every time i play a new one, so no i'm not impressed and won't waste cash on MWCOD rubbish.

Is that enough of a rant btw? If not let me know and i will go on.

exactly for some reason both COD and MW get away with releasing what would be classed as £2 DLC in any other game as a full priced brand new game each year, and idiots still buy it! with very few exceptions all that ever changes is minutely better graphics and a few new guns

having seen the kinds of fanboys those games have i'm fairly certain the developers could spend the entire press budget on ads that read "it's crap and exactly the same as last year" and they'd still be number one on the charts when they came out.

Firstly, love your avatar that was an amazing moment in that episode haha.

Anyway on topic, I loved CoD 4 and still play it every now and then. I skipped WaW and got MW2 and I enjoyed it, but the killstreaks were annoying. From that point CoD went down hill :P

I love Battlefield though, Bad company 2 was great and literally just got BF 3.
