I promised myself I wouldn't get sucked into all this snow talk but what with the beast from the east, storm Emma and fuck knows what else heading our way, people are losing their shit. Cars are being abandoned, supermarkets shelves are being cleared out - you'd think the fucking rapture was coming.



The Canadian's are laughing their asses off right now at our piddly bit of snow, although to us, this is pretty extreme. We aren't really equiped to to deal with this sort of weather and it does make people hella crazy. To be fair, the furher north you go in the uk, the better equipped folks will be when it comes t dealing with the snow (suppose they have not had a lot of choice). Head south though and yep, the slighest hint of snow and the bulk really start losing the plot. Being a southerner myself i dont include myself as being part of the 'losing ones mind' brigade..my sole focus while all this has been going on is praying for work to tell yours truly to do one on account of shutting up shop early (sadly this didnt happen so bollocks to the snow..thanks a lot lol).

'Nuisance from the north' couldn't be arsed..imagine if the white walkers took that same half baked approach (suspect plot idea for the final season haha. Kids are the worst when i comes to snow days, rubbing the fact in..i remember when i was a lad the schools wouldn't close for such trivial amounts..grumble, grumble..right, back to me rocking chair haha.
