  Wayne Rooney is by far the biggest lump in the planet!! MY nan has a better touch and she can hardly walk now. We does he still continue to play football for our country when there are far better youngsters who can create goals and assists for there team mates?
  It baffles me how such a loath of a man can count to ten let alone play football against some the worlds most gifted and fit players!!
  Why does he still get a chance? Ross Barcley, Lallana and the OX are better then him and deserve the chance to give tit their best shot?
  Who agrees with my opions?

  I think you're a moron but sadly you're not alone. Rooney was easily our best player last night yet he continues to be the scapegoat. It's madness but i'm not surprised, England fans and media love to scapegoat United players.

  Well, it's true unfortunately. Beckham, Scholes, Rooney, Welbeck et al have all come under huge scrutiny following international tournaments whilst players from other clubs all escape blame. Sturridge last night, for a player in the same position example, was awful. Does he get the same abuse Rooney recieved? Na.
  
  Also, my thread on johnson isn't blaming him for any defeat, just highlighting how bad he is and how no one ever seems to mention it

  I follow man utd and i think he's well overated. He's a quality player, but nowhere near world class. He doesn't perform against big teams and is basically a shit team bully.

  My dislike of Rooney is well documented on here but the part in bold is absolute bollocks, do you even watch our games?   i Feel wayne is a good player but maybe its time he hung up his boots for England and focused more on club football, he seems to perform for Manchester United but cant do the same job for england but it seems to me that the england team never perform great as a team for the amount of world class players they have

  Over 10 years he's gonna have a few playing for one of best teams in Europe and for a start only a couple where important goals, plus the overhead hit him on the shin. Where was he in big games this season-nowhere. One goal against city when they were 4-0 down. I'm talking about influence on a game not just the odd goal. He scored in cl final against barca, but touched the ball 5 times and was shit.
