  The only Liverpool player in history to have pockets in his shorts!!!!  And, if he didn't fall on his arse so much, he walked around the pitch, hands in pockets, playing with his plums!!!!!
  
  That was a bad miss by Heskey.  I have seen worse misses though.
  
  It would rank in the Top 20, defo.
  
  Seen far worse.  There was a miss from an Australian game years ago, where the player, instead of letting the ball roll over the line, somehow take the ball away from goal, then the follow-up was missed!  It was on a video called "Football Hell" in the mid-late 90s.
  
  Also, one of the worst misses ever - was on A Question Of Sport years ago.  What Happened Next? Round.  Ebbw Vale in Wales.  The striker knocked the ball past the advancing keeper, the ball was bouncing its way into the net, then, right on the line, the player went to blast the ball home, instead hitting the underside of the bar, bounced down on the line, then was cleared to safety!!!  That was the worst miss I have EVER seen!
  
  However, Emily in that clip, or in fact ANY bad miss from Heskey, will bring a laugh from me, unless it's any from when he was at Liverpool!!!  ;)

  No wonder Arsène Wenger is reluctant to buy players. The £11m he spent on Gervinho doesn't look like the best investment. At least he didn't cough up £50m for Fernando Torres. In fairness to Wenger, even the best players can miss easy chances

  Shocking, shocking miss from Mr Rosenthal!
  
  Remember that, as an 11 year old.  It was 0-0 at the time of that miss.  Aston Villa went on to win 4-2.
