  wow lol i never even eard of this dude and i watch bellator sometimes ,but while wen bellator i hope eddie alverez wins his next fight so he can jump to the ufc, would like to see melendez vs alverez,that would be a sick fight

  He was the very first welterweight champ for them so you can imagine how shit the competition was back then. I don't really follow it that much any more, I just don't really rate the fighters and the good fighters look way better than they are against some very average guys.

  ye same i use to watch wec hard and a lil pride but bellator i hardly watch,unless its eddie vs chandler or one of those type of match ups,did any of u watch eeddie vs chandler 1 and 2?

  if eddie gets in ufc a fight with edson barboza,gilbert,sanchez,or pettis would be a sick fight ,alot of guys dont know how good eddie really is because he fights in bellator and they dont let their guys go to ufc easily

  pride was awesome, easily by far the best non ufc action that i've ever seen. i mean at the time really the best heavyweights and light heavyweights were pride anyway and back then i think there was less attention on the smaller weight classes, only bj penn really starting to come into his own, but since then ufc is pretty damn good, very competitive overall

  u think pride was better then wec ? i dunno man wec was only light weights so almost every fight was a fast pace war,pettis,aldo,mighty mouse,cruz all came from there ,but pride had those crazy rules footy kicks on the ground to the head ,heavy weights vs light weights lol

  i don't think pride was better than wec, i KNOW pride was better than wec lol. i mean yes i think generally LHW and HW is more exciting (i think most people would agree) and plus it had some of the very best fighters of all time in their primes. Fedor (the most impressive of all), Big nog, cro cop, wanderlei silva at his scariest (probably on mad steroids looking at it now lol but still..), rampage, shogun.
  
  absolutely no way WEC can compete with that. yes they had some good fights, but fedor vs nog, fedor vs crocop, wandy vs rampage, cro cop vs wandy - those are some of the most classic matches of all time. no contest for me :)

  The pride fights were very exciting, mainly cuz they were pretty brutal. They definitely had a couple of rules that needed to be changed to protect fighters. I'm sure half of the fighters were juicing there.

  lol see i didnt really get to watch pride i only saw some fights after ufc brought them out but i saw all wec so thats why i liked it more but them pride have some crazy fights lol,guys like bob sapp

  His physique was a joke, do u reckon he tried the odd steroid in his time? I only really used to watch the big fights, exciting matches and crazy knockouts. I didn't watch whole cards.
