  Have searched the forums, cant find an existing thread for this so thought i would create one. Does anyone or did anyone here watch the tv show Two and a half men? Any thoughts about the show? Any fond memories (for example a particular episode or moment)? Fave character from the show. I still watch the show (i believe its now in its final season). I watch now more as a matter of course as despite the efforts of certain actors / actresses in the show, for me, the show died when Charlie left. I cannot warm to Kutcher at all. I have all Charlies seasons on dvd, i have no intention of buying any of the seasons after his departure.

  Im guessing this isnt the most popular of shows nowadays. Honestly, im not suprised. Im also not suprised the show is nnow in the final half of its final season. The show just is not funny anymore. Each episode now just smacks of desperation. I just hope for the show finale Charlie is bought back in some capacity. He needs to be there.

  I watch it, not the best comedy ever but it's not bad. It was funnier in the earlier years ( but then it started to go down a bit in the later charlie seasons as well), and the series with kitchen had picked up a bit since he was first added (I think it was partly down to the supporting characters introduced him (like the annoyingly posh and stuck up English girlfriend introduced at the start if Ashton's run).

  For me the writers dropped the all overnight after Charlie went. Characters i used to love such as Berta and Evelyn just dont make me laugh any more whaereas during the Charlie years i was constantly in hysterics with them (as well as Charlie of course, with Alan its been more a case of laughing at the abuse he received as opposed to things he did himself). A slight ammendment though, during the most recent uk episode i did laugh when he farted on the gym equipment. Found it really funny as i can relate (working out and involuntary farting go hand in hand lol).

  Well, thats it. The finale was on the other day in the uk. No more two and half men. There were a couple of classic put downs from Berta and a couple of classic put downs from Evelyn but apart from that....IT WAS A FUCKING DISAPOINTMENT AND A HUGE UP YOURS TO THE FANS OF THE SHOW THAT, FOR MANY, HAVE FOLLOWED FOR THE PAST 12 YEARS.

  A week on from watching this and im still gobsmacked and what a massive kick in the fucking fans nuts the finale was. The whole episode was just an opportunity for the douche behind the show to spit out his dummy and basically rip on Charlie for 45 minutes. The final 4 series (basically all series since Charlie left) were diabolical enough but the finale really took the biscuit. Looking online, im not alone with my views on this. The majority of fans seem to think the same thing so, i suppose Charlie has had the last laugh after all.

  I tend to watch a lot of clips on YouTube and I really quite like the Ashton in the role, but then I'm only watching the
  best bits and I suppose watching whole episodes could drag the likability down quite a lot

  Two and a Half men really started to slip in the later series, even the ones with Charlie. They seemed to rely on the same jokes and keep them going for ages. Ashton Kutcher was good but the writing was just terrible then so no matter how good a character you are there is no helping a bad script. Its a shame as it was quite funny when it started

  I don't know why some people blame the show's creator for firing Charlie Sheen, he was an unproffesional addict who made anti Semitic comments toward his boss, despite the fact he had been given a lot of leeway and was getting a lot of money per episode. Hell he probably could have kept his job on the show if he'd apologised, and cleaned himself up.
  And honestly the Ashton series weren't consistently good but they had their moments (last few years with Charlie weren't great to be honest) though the finale for this wasn't the best (still better than Anger Management).

  Anger management, sorry, just threw up in my mouth a little bit. Had tried blocking that sturgid turd of a show out. Only watched the first season, still have no idea what possessed me to see one season through to the end. Yeah, Charlie Sheen had his issues and yeah, think it was going to his head a bit but he was that show. Once he left even dependable characters that stayed on seemed lost (Berta and Evelyn too name a couple). Cant blame the talent for that, it was all on the writers / makers of the show. It all seemed so effortless with Charlie, with Ashton however he was just not funny. Part him, part material, part trying too hard and not succeeding..you decide.
