TRANSFER WINDOW! 20th January

Sam Allardyce doesn't reckon he'll be able to sign Thomas Vermaelen. He's not wrong, but why mention it in the first place? Doesn't look like Lacina Traore will be happening either. Providing he passes a medical he's off to Everton.
The Manchesters and the Liverpools are all after 18 year old striker Diego De Girolamo. Sounds pretty exotic, right? He plays for Sheffield United, and was born in Chesterfield.
It was reported before yesterday's humiliation at Chelsea that David Moyes had £150m to spend, that's presumably gone up a bit now but either way it should be enough to make a decent dent in a list of targets that includes Juan Mata, Ross Barkley, Adam Lallana, Edinson Cavani, Alberto Moreno, Fabio Coentrao, Koke and Leighton Baines, probably.
Newcastle fans will be hoping Remy Cabella doesn't roll up at St James's, as his arrival could pave the way for Yohan Cabaye's €26m move to PSG.
Liverpool are still keen on Mohamed Salah, Spurs want Goran Pandev, and Mirko Vucinic is making Arsene Wenger giddy.
Alan Hutton to Stoke or Fulham. Why?

UPDATES
Fabio's off to Cardiff on loan, Montpellier want to take Hatem Ben Arfa short-term and Sunderland have signed some chap called Santiago Vergini until the end of the season.
Tiago Ilori's at Liverpool hasn't really worked out so don't be too shocked to here that he's left for Granada on loan. Ditto Lewis Holtby, but to Schalke, not Granada, and Spurs, not Liverpool. Potentially...
And Tony Pulis thinks Leon Best can ease Palace's goal troubles. Ha!
