Marco Reus quite fancies winning some trophies. As such, he'll reject a £20m summer move to Arsenal. Chelsea though, that's another matter, and in Andre Schurrle they've got a bit-part player absolutely primed for a swap deal.
Wenger might have a bit more joy wooing Reus' Dortmund team-mate Mats Hummels though. He's keen (which is half the battle), but also valued at £30m, so they'll probably end up with Virgil van Dijk instead. Or, Tyrone Mings. The Ipswich centre-half was playing for Chippenham Town two years ago and cost just £10,000. These days you'll be lucky to get change out of £10m. Stick that up yer beetroot factory.
Raheem Sterling's new Liverpool contract will contain a £60m release clause aimed at scaring off potential suitors. Yeah, cause he's certainly not gonna be worth that in a couple of years... Steven Gerrard looks to be sticking around for a while yet too but the same isn't necessarily true of Simon Mignolet. Word is Brendan Rodgers will look to replace him with Asmir Begovic come January, £10m bids at the ready.
And if you were wondering what's going on with Victor Valdes, he's closing in on a move to Man Utd. Ron Vlaar and Dani Alves might be too apparently. You heard it here first.
Southampton will have a right battle on their hands trying to keep Jay Rodriguez away from the clutches of high-flying Tottenham this January. Morgan Schneiderlin'll probably be agitating again too.
And lastly, Yohan Cabaye's not getting much football at PSG. Thankfully, United, Arsenal and Liverpool are all on hand to save the day. Make it so.
