As a neutral on these matters, I'd like to stress that I take no delight whatsoever in the news that Norwich have agreed a fee for Hooper, or the fact that he's travelling there for a medical today, and not Loftus Road.

Any suggestion that my day has been made by seeing Harry Redknapp with egg on his face couldn't be more wide of the mark.

Cesc Fabregas update now. Despite already having had two bids rejected, David Moyes says "things are ongoing" in their effort to bring the Spanish international to Old Trafford.

How high will they go? How high should they go? £30m was rejected, is he worth £35-40m?
