He has put in a transfer request and we have rejected a 6th bid from Burnley for him. But hope we can hang on till 11pm for him. Maybe a couple more deals in or out but think the striker is the most essential but we can't out spend the big 3 in the Championship Aston Villa, Newcastle and Norwich, but our chairman has pumped £200m+ on the ground, training ground and playing staff! So us Seagulls trust him as he is a born and bred fan his grandfather and uncle have been on our board previously so no johnny come lately money man.

Or at least it will be if Southampton sign a striker, some top-level competition for Fonte and van Dijk at the back and, if i'm being greedy, a new defensive midfielder.
Read this morning that a new back-up right back, and Cuco Martina to Everton might be the extent of our business today though. When you consider that we're still about £15m in profit on this summer's deals, that would be shite.
What's everyone else hoping for on this most magical of days?
